Fox Pond B&B is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood of Marblehead, MA. My husband and I stayed there for a few days while visiting our son in nearby Salem. Our room is beautifully styled with antique and period furnishings. Bed, pillows and seating were very comfortable! Ample clothes storage, and the bathroom/facilities were great. All was immaculate. Breakfast was... More

What a treasure! We loved having access to the nature trails from the beautiful back yard. Breakfast on the patio with delicious food was such a treat. We loved the "therapy dog" Mulligan, who was so loving and well behaved. So many lovely touches, like port and oatmeal cookies. The architecture is charming and inventive, with light wells in the... This beautiful bed-and-breakfast is welcoming right from the start. The host, and right hand dog Mulligan, come out to greet you as you are parking with offers to help with your bags. His home is immaculate with a large back garden, a pond, trees - just beautiful to look out on or take a walk. Tea, coffee and biscuits are... More

My wife and I and another couple drove in on a cold Friday night to find Ted and Mulligan waiting outside with warm greetings. The charming B&B sits in a quiet residential conveniently close to North Shore sites. The comforting aroma of years of cozy living room fires greeted us on entry. So did a pile of fresh cookies and... More

Lovely room, great breakfast, nice people. A homey atmosphere. We loved the proximity to a natural area with trails, wildlife and birding. The rooms are nice, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean.

There are 3 things you should know about the town of Marblehead: 1.) B & B's are allowed in neighborhoods zoned residential, but 2.) They can have signage and 3.) They aren't allowed to cook for you (they can heat, but not cook.) Those are the the city ordinances, so there really isn't anything to be done about it. You... More

My wife and I were there to visit Salem for the first time a few weeks ago and we have absolutely nothing bad to say. We loved everything about our stay. The place was clean and located in a perfect location close to Salem. Ted was extremely friendly and welcoming, his dog Mulligan was awesome and loving, the bed was... More

We just had a second delightful stay at Fox Pond Inn ! It is not located in the hustle and bustle of Marblehead but is in a wonderful residential area. Fox Pond has a great backyard with a pond, a fire pit, great sitting areas and lots of wildlife to observe. We enjoyed our second stay as much as the... More

My husband and my brother and sister and their spouses spent a week in the Cape Cod/Boston area. We wanted to visit Marblehead, MA while there and decided to do an overnight stay to enjoy the evening and day before heading to the Logan Airport.
