My wife and I and another couple drove in on a cold Friday night to find Ted and Mulligan waiting outside with warm greetings. The charming B&B sits in a quiet residential conveniently close to North Shore sites. The comforting aroma of years of cozy living room fires greeted us on entry. So did a pile of fresh cookies and... More

Lovely room, great breakfast, nice people. A homey atmosphere. We loved the proximity to a natural area with trails, wildlife and birding. The rooms are nice, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean.

There are 3 things you should know about the town of Marblehead: 1.) B & B's are allowed in neighborhoods zoned residential, but 2.) They can have signage and 3.) They aren't allowed to cook for you (they can heat, but not cook.) Those are the the city ordinances, so there really isn't anything to be done about it. You... More

My wife and I were there to visit Salem for the first time a few weeks ago and we have absolutely nothing bad to say. We loved everything about our stay. The place was clean and located in a perfect location close to Salem. Ted was extremely friendly and welcoming, his dog Mulligan was awesome and loving, the bed was... More

We just had a second delightful stay at Fox Pond Inn ! It is not located in the hustle and bustle of Marblehead but is in a wonderful residential area. Fox Pond has a great backyard with a pond, a fire pit, great sitting areas and lots of wildlife to observe. We enjoyed our second stay as much as the... More

My husband and my brother and sister and their spouses spent a week in the Cape Cod/Boston area. We wanted to visit Marblehead, MA while there and decided to do an overnight stay to enjoy the evening and day before heading to the Logan Airport. I called Ted at the Fox Pond B & B and he was able to... More

Like many others we looked to Trip Adviser to Guide us. Ted Baker has created a charming B&B in Marblehead, Ma. in a peaceful residential area. He is well informed on the history of the area and is willing to share his knowledge by the fire while you are enjoying a hot breakfast with a good cup of coffee. The... More

Thank you Ted for making our last night in Boston/Marblehead so special. Wonderful not to be in a generic hotel close to the airport. Your inn was perfect - after a long day of travel, to be able to unwind with a glass of Port and super cookies, and then retreat to the most comfortable accomodations. Yet another surprise in... A wonderful B&B. We were there for four nights and enjoyed every day we were there. It is close to both Salem and Marblehead. For those who enjoy a good ramble there is a hike and bike lane close by. The host is a very personable individual and his golden retriever, Mulligan is a hoot.
