We recently visited Boston and decided to stay at the MHI rather than a downtown hotel, and what a great decision that turned out to be. Comfortable rooms, charming old inn, and a great continental breakfast made our stay a great one. The best part of the in. Though is it's proximity to historic Marblehead. Take a walk into town... We stayed three nights in this well-run and attractive B&B located in historic Marblehead. The rooms in this recently-renovated Victorian house are comfortable and the service is excellent, with a first-rate continental breakfast. We're grateful for all that Jeffrey did to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend the Marblehead Inn. It was the perfect place to start our holiday in New England. Only a 25 minute drive from Boston Airport, Marblehead turned out to be a fantastic find. The town itself is beautiful and very interesting and a great 20 minute walk away along an old railway trail. Jeffery, the innkeeper was friendly, helpful... More

We had a long day driving from Cape Cod via Plymouth and Salem only to find Salem fully booked accommodation wise. Starting to feel desperate not knowing the area we remembered our previous host mentioning Marblehead so we drove in that general direction. We happened upon the Marblehead Inn but it looked like it would blow our budget. The reception... More

Innkeeper Jeffrey was the best, very accommodating. Rooms were immaculate and spacious, grounds well maintained with ample parking. Continental breakfast had a large variety, muffins, scones, yogurt, cereals, fruits & cheeses, not to mention excellent coffee. Espresso & cappuccino were also available. The afternoon also had wine/cheese chocolates... all in all a very nice experience.

We have just returned (family of 3) from 5 nights at the historical and lovely Marblehead Inn. The inn is very well maintained, full of charm and has that old elegant style. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful (thank you, Jeffrey!). Our room/suite was very spacious, comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated. Continental breakfast was delicious, offering high... More

Stayed here on our last night touring New England as it was close to Boston airport. The Innkeeper Jeffrey made us very welcome and was helpful in recommending places to eat. Our room was large and well maintained. Ok, it wasn't a cooked breakfast but there was plenty of choice and everything was very fresh.

What a pleasurable stay. We were welcomed with choice of hot or cold drink and cookie and chocolates/sweets, and good information on restaurants, etc. Lovely room. We were offered a glass of wine before we went out to eat. Breakfast was cold continental but with plentiful fresh fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, muffins etc. And wide selection of teas. Certainly a... More

A beautiful and very clean and well appointed inn, I highly recommend this wonderfully staffed, delightfully decorated escape! The inn keeper was incredibly warm, helpful, and took great pride in his beautiful inn! The rooms have been recently renovated and are airy and gorgeous! I adored my stay here!

Beautiful Victorian, Jeffery was extremely nice, the new rear yard grounds were very well done, I enjoyed my stay, but the morning breakfast was a high end cold Continental type breakfast, and although it was a nice continental breakfast, I just expected more from a B & B .
