We had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by Jeffrey until we left after a wonderful breakfast in the warm, comfortable, friendly dining area. We were on the 3rd floor with a living room and bedroom - the MarbleHead Inn was immaculate…and that is the coming from someone with high standards. Jeffrey... More

Let me just start by saying this, the Innkeeper is amazing!! He has an eye for detail, and it shows, from the minute you walk in the door!! He is very friendly and welcoming, and has an easygoing way about him that just sets you at ease. He is an excellent conversationalist, and has a great laugh. You just smile... More

A warm thank you for your review. We are so happy you enjoyed yourself at the Inn. It was great to have you here. *Just a note that we do not have a non cancelation policy for the month of October....just for the single week of Halloween. :) I hope you find your way back to us soon. Regards, Jeffrey More

My fiancé and I went to Salem and eloped during Halloween and we stayed at the Marblehead Inn for 4 nights. We definitely found it hard to leave. The location is fantastic, the service is great, the rooms along with the house and it's history are simply amazing! Jefferey is bar none the best host and most sincere and personable... More

This was our first time staying at a B&B/Inn. We were a little skeptical since we did not know what to expect. The innkeeper, Jeffrey, was warm and personable from the minute we walked through the door. He escorted us to our room, informed us of the times he serves breakfast and also gave us recommendations for restaurants near by.... More

We recently spent three nights at the Marblehead Inn, finding the whole experience much more than expected. Our innkeeper, Jeffrey, was cordial, humorous, and helpful. We shared meals, wine, and stories with wonderful guests. And, our room was fantastic, clean, and practical. We would definitely return if we are in the area. Another pleasant surprise was a dirt path a... More

The Marblehead Inn is a pleasant place to stay and is fairly conveniently located not too far from town. It's on a fairly busy main road so we missed the quaint New England feel but the renovated space within the Inn is nicely done. I give them high marks for a very nice continental breakfast presentation. And the woman working... More

Great Room, Great Staff. Very homely and welcoming. Fresh Breakfast in the morning was a plus! Walking distance from town centre and a cab rid away from Salem for reasonable fare. Under 23 year olds are not accepted which makes it a great retreat for couples and friends.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I just have to state for the record that we allow children over the age of 12. :) I would hate for our future guests to get the wrong impression. Thank you for staying at the Marblehead Inn. Please return soon. Jeffrey More

The Marblehead Inn, run superbly by Jeffrey Gilman, is the one to look out for (if they have any vacancies). Nothing is too much trouble and for a first time visitor to the USA, the information of where to eat/go etc flowed. But don't mention walking or using public transport to Jeffrey - he was horrified but the truth be... More

Jeffrey, The Innkeeper, is priceless. "His" house is magnificently decorated with very special touches throughout this magnificent edifice. His attention to detail included not just décor, but food, wine, service. Jeffrey is not the owner but his pride in this boutique Inn astounded me. His humor and wit added the ultimate touch to a wonderful visit. Suite #6 was truly... More

The Inn Keeper, Jeffery, made our stay a great one! He truly wanted his guests to have a good time. In the evening some of us gathered around the together for a glass of wine and ended up laughing into the evening. Jeffery was discreet yet entertaining and helpful. The Inn has been redone in a tasteful fashion keeping the... More
