A quaint and very beautiful Inn on Marblehead Neck. You wake up everyday to your hosts, Ruth and Skip, and their marvelous personalities and a wonderful breakfast in their dining room. The Inn is a short walk to Castle Rock and the Atlantic Ocean. The Lighthouse is less than a 10 minute walk with great views of the harbor. At... More

My wife and I stayed at the Seagull Inn in May 2015 for 8 nights. We have stayed here several times previously, and we love the place, the atmosphere, the location, the breakfasts, the discussions and friendly banter, and our new friends Ruth and Skip. Besides it provides excellent value for money. We cannot wait to go back in a... More

We stayed there nearly a year ago with my dad and two of my children and loved the place! Ruth and Skip are wonderful, interesting and well-travelled people who make you feel at home straight away! We had the Seabreeze Suite with the adjoining twin room for my children who loved to be on their own. A sitting room was... More

My husband and two teenaged boys stayed at the Seagull in for five nights in January 2015 and had a really wonderful experience. The rooms were as advertised and very clean. Many nice amenities were provided such as snacks, soap, shampoo, and even a nice glass of wine the first night. I cannot tell you have wonderful the breakfasts were!... More

The Seagull Inn is clean, quiet, and comfortable -- our three biggies -- and we were perfectly satisfied during our one night stay. We booked the Library Suite; it's small but well laid out and organized. It provided everything we could have wanted for a short stay. Also, we liked that nothing was too "fussy" the way B and B's... Thanks so much for the lovely review. We really appreciate the kind words, and your taking the time to write it. We'll certainly hope for a return visit. We think you're the couple who came to the area to see the Peabody Essex Museum. We just went to the Nathaniel Gould special exhibit there, and loved it - some beautiful... More

We had a great weekend taking our dad back to visit his old stomping ground and to learn more about our family history. From the time I booked our reservation, Ruth was helping me plan things that we needed to see. The accommodations and breakfasts were wonderful but the hosts were simply the best! We honestly felt like we were... More

We stayed at the Seagull Inn for two nights at the end of October. Ruth and Skip were very welcoming, kind and helpful during our stay and we appreciated the glass of wine we were offered each evening. We stayed in the Lighthouse Suite which is self-contained and has its own entrance and parking space and great views. The rooms... More

Of course the Seagull Inn has everything that you would expect form a top quality B and B but it is the hosts that really make the difference. Ruth and Skip are clearly a couple that enjoy looking after their guests and this enjoyment is transferred in the care and attention that was paid to us. Little touches such as... More

My wife and I with our 10 year old son stayed at the Seagull in the middle of August 2014. We had great expectations for our first visit to Marblehead, but they were exceeded and then some! Ruth and Skip are simply the most gracious hosts we have ever encountered and made our stay at the Seagull simply magical. The... More

The two of us stayed at the Seagull Inn for several weeks this summer (2014), and it was our best vacation ever (and we’re not young!). Ruth and Skip are the ideal hosts — friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and great fun besides. The Inn was perfect for us, both inside and out; we stayed in two different units, the Lighthouse and... More
