Maybe it was the room location and shared bath, but I wouldn't rate our stay anywhere near the top of our experiences. Our room was small and clean, but adequate. The small shared bath was really small, but luckily no one had the adjoining room. We had to squeeze past the baby grand piano to go through the pantry hallway,... More

My wife and I spent five nights at Brimblecomb in Sept 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The b and b was cosy, our host was welcoming and made our visit very enjoyable with lots of information about Marblehead and area. Breakfast was Continental style with freshly baked muffins etc, very adequate. The b and b has three rooms two... More

We have been coming to Marblehead and the Brimblecomb Hill B&B since 2004. You will be staying in a house built in 1721. Your host, Gene, is a great guy and his B&B is comfortable and relaxing. Gene makes your visit feel like going to and old friends home for a visit. Our last visit was this week of Halloween.... More

My family rented all the rooms and we loved the house and Gene is a wonderful host. The location is wonderful and the rooms are very cute with a warm homelike feeling. I would stay here again if I ever get to go back.

We were looking for a place for just one night and found the Brimblecomb on line, Normally in the fall there is a 2 or 3 day minimum stay at most B&Bs but the reservations showed they had a room open for a Friday night only....so we went for it! Upon arriving we found an envelope with our name on... More

What a warm welcoming man gene, the owner is. The room (the Isaac) is as described and just a really interesting room. The whole building is a beauty to look at and spend time in. The location is ideal to walk around and explore old historic marblehead. All of this area is wonderful to be in. A great place to... More

The Brimblecomb Hill B & B is in the heart of Historic Marblehead. Just off its main commercial street, this Inn offers a quiet respite from the concentrated attractions of nearby Salem. The building joins dozens of other restored homes, shops and churches from the 18th and 19th Centuries, in an ideal waterfont setting. Walking this town is a wonderful... More

The Brimblecomb Hill B&B is so warm, inviting, and comfortable, I can't say enough about it! The original building was built in 1721, and all the nooks and crannies and funny doors and wood floors let you know you are in a place of true historic value. The sitting room where breakfast is set up is full of books about... More

Located near the beautiful harbor of Marblehead, surrounded by historical buildings and early American architecture, this small, intimate inn is perfect for a weekend away. Owner Gene Arnould provides a charming, warm ambience for his guests. Breakfast choices are healthy and delicious--continental in style. He also owns an art gallery nearby and is active in the lively Marblehead arts scene.

We only had the pleasure of staying at the Brimblecomb for 1 night, but we are definitely planning to stay there in the future again as we frequent Marblehead. If you are traveling to this area for the month of October, you are competing for a nice place to stay due to the usual leaf peepers and the folks visiting... More
