My husband and I had just gotten engaged prior to our trip to Manchester. Upon telling the inn keeper that, he upgraded our room. It was a nice gesture. It was a quiet place to stay. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and the inn needs some improvements, but overall it is a great location and comfortable sleep.

This is the most over priced, run down, poorly maintained lodging facility we've been to in years. And we travel a lot. It is promoted as a B&B. There is no one there at check in time, or during the night. No staff and the owner lives in NH. The sign on the door says something like come in, pick... More

We stayed here for Halloween weekend and were very happy with the accomodations. We stayed in room 1, where we had our own private bathroom and soaking tub. Everything in this B&B is very old, but the bathroom was clean and we had fresh towels everyday. We also had a fireplace in the room that we used once during our... More

This was not a bad place to stay...but there is more that can be put into it. It reminded me of staying with an aunt or a grandmother while passing through to the next destination. It was just a little older. The rooms were spacious, but it is an old establishment and could use a little TLC. The lack of... More

The Old Corner Inn wasn't easy to find online, although if you google it, there it will be. I found it after realizing I'd waited too long to book my vacation to Salem, MA this year and all the possibilities that met my requirements(preferably b&b, old as in 1800's, maybe historic) were booked solid. Anything left over to choose from... More

Having taken 2 weeks touring through New York, Ontario, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, now on our way to Boston, MA., while staying in Hotels like The Clarion, Comfort Inn & Suites etc. etc., we were driving down Route 127 when we came upon the “Old Corner Inn” and decided to stay the night. Michael the owner of the establishment... More

We lodged at the B&B for 5 nights making an extended stay while attending a fantastic wedding at The Sharksmouth Estate - The Stone House in Manchester By The Sea. We had 3 rooms at the Old Corner Inn for our family and we all had a most amazing and epic stay... The Inn is conveniently located for all the... More

Our first time in the area so we wanted something out of Boston and Salem but within an easy driving distance - this was fine! The house did not disappoint and the host is great. Yes the bathrooms need updating and the beds could be a little more comfy but apart from that we would definately come to stay again... More

A most beautiful, large old victorian house. The host and owner was charming and welcoming. It is centrally located as Salem and Glouster are near by. Boston is accessible by train. Manchester itself is a charming and quaint town with nice home town eateries and restaurants We took advangtage of these because the continental breakfast at the B&B left a... More

Reading through the previous reviews on this Inn I can only assume that either the ownership has changed or previous reviewers have excessive expectations as we really enjoyed our stay here. Our final night on our tour of New England we arrived quite late and were greeted by the owner who showed us our rooms. The inn was originally built... More
