I have stayed at this inn on several occasions and have always enjoyed my time there. This experience was quite different, though, and I'm sad to say I will not return. There was minimal contact with the innkeeper. I had a small problem the morning I was checking out and no one was available. I rang the bell and phoned... More

Set in a residential neighborhood about two blocks from the beach, the Inn is a lovely old house with six (or maybe five or seven) very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. The innkeepers are warm and friendly and the daily full breakfast, served outside on the porch when weahter permits, is delicious. There is a "premiere" room (a little pricey)... More

This was a beautiful inn and I had a most enjoyable stay. It is actually not really in Lynn, it is right on the border of Swampscott. It is in a gorgeous neighborhood, just steps to a beautiful walkway on the beach. My mother and I walked down to a restaurant the night we stayed there (about a 10 minute... More

My husband and I were visting family in the area before Thanksgiving and decided to try a B&B for the first time. We were very happy with our stay here. We ended up in the suite with a fireplace and deck overlooking the water. I agree with a previous reviewer that the deck does have a giant satellite dish on... More

We booked here 15 days in advance. After finding from people in the area what an awful, crime-ridden city Lynn is, we tried to cancel 2 days later. Apparently, they have a policy where they will charge you if you cancel within 14-days if they don't rebook the room (which we DID know about, in the interest of full disclosure).... More

I was looking for a place to stay in the area for 2 days, close to the water, close to Boston. I found the Diamond District Inn, booked a room and had a great stay. We stayed in the Vamp room with 2 twin beds (my mom and I). We had to use the window A/C the whole time we... More

My family stayed here at the end of June. Just be warned that the balcony on the $300+ ocean side suite looks directly at a stem and bottom of a huge satelite dish! The beach was gooey and smelly - although it was just down the block. The staff was warm and the breakfasts were good. We use B&B's all... More
