We cut our stay at the "Lyttleton Inn" by 5 days due to the rude, unprofessional and intrusive actions of the innkeeper, Mary. She doesn't respect the personal space of the paying guests and after being there for 3 days she took it upon herself to go into our room and rearrange most of our personal items in the bedroom... I shall breathe deeply before responding to this review....I agree it was a very unpleasant experience; for us as well as our other guests staying here at that time. We truly believe that we can and should make every visitor feel welcome and comfortable here at the Inn, and we go to considerable lengths to make that happen for everyone,... More

Our experience at the Lyttleton Inn could not have been more delightful. We arrived late in the day and were greeted at the door by Mary one of the owners of the inn. She was pleasant and helpful but since we were in a hurry to catch a concert we didnt have time to explore the inn. Mary did provide... More

Mary and Tom welcome you to their home. New England's past is brought forward to the 21st century in simplicity. Books, throw rugs, lighting and furniture allow you to rest and relax. No TV's to disturb your breakfast which Mary prepares each morning. You can spend your time with your own thoughts. Enjoy

The Lyttleton Inn offers everything you could hope for in a B&B with lots of little extras that make for a most pleasant experience. The house is beautiful, charming, and super clean. Our room (The Mariner) was very cozy, the bathroom impeccable. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies. Mary, the owner, is one of the most welcoming... More

This was our second visit with Mary at the Lyttleton Inn. (February/April) In a little, out of the way town, we have enjoyed using this B & B as our base of operation for daily adventures in the surrounding areas. Mary has used one of her many talents to artfully decorate the home, preserving its old charm. Stories about the... More

Beautiful place and great people! Very comfortable bed, I slept so well and tons of great books to look through. The Lyttleton Inn has a very cozy feel, delicious breakfast and best of all a very welcoming innkeeper! For runners or walkers just down the street there's some great trails too! Thank you for a wonderful stay and I hope... More

Booked the entire house with friends and some customers. Mary and Tom were awesome. Gave us great directions and tips of things to do around town. House was super clean, and bathrooms were spotless! Can't say enough about this place. From the made-from-scratch biscotti to the breakfast scones (Omg!), everything was perfect! Thanks so much for making our short stay... More

We were traveling from VA to ME to visit our daughter, and the Lyttleton Inn was a perfect overnight stop. It was great to meet Mary and chat about the house, the area, and of course, books! She provides lots of extra touches to make a stay special ... we enjoyed tea and biscotti in the library, chocolate and a... More

Born and raised in the Deep South, I grew up where 'Hospitality' was a Code of Honor. With our son having lived 'north of the Mason-Dixon line' for many years, we have experienced New England hospitality often in our visits with his family and nowhere more abundantly than at the Lyttleton Inn. Not only are the accommodations uniquely elegant with... More

You don't go to Littleton to tour but it is a nice central location to visit the Nashoba Valley. The Inn is typical of old New England homes. The rooms are all well appointed and the communal areas are restful with certain touches like port wine, chocolates and beverages available to help you just relax. Our room was The Mariner... More
