The rooms are a bit old and probably require a renovation. I didn't feel that it was as clean as it should. Friendly service, hot water, and appropriate heat. I think that it is fair to say that you get what you pay for.

Very standard. Beds alright- an audible plastic crunching sound when you sit down. Checked to make sure I wasn't on a pool float. Interesting stains on the bathroom door, bathroom looked like it had just been used. Very friendly service and a warm shower so after hiking all day it did the job.

Found that 112 has bed bugs. Room 111 was ok. The owner refunded our money. I asked the owner if he had had problems before and he said no. Later he said that he had the room inspected by a pest company two weeks before but they did not find any. I asked him why there why he had a... More

Firstly, we stayed in room 107 and it looked nothing like the photos on TA (which people who were obviously pleased with the decor or their room took) - there wasn't any pretty wall paper and bedspread that's for sure! And to say it had any sort of charm is laughable. In fact, our blanket had numerous cigarette holes in... More

Spent a night here based on positive TripAdvisor reviews and very attractive price. Though it was originally a basic 1950s style roadside motel, my room was very much updated, complete with large screen HDTV and free wifi. My bed was a little on the hard side and breakfast is not served, but you're short walking distance from a Friendly's, which... More

[To my surprise I was staying at the "temporary headquarters" of the CIA/FBI & Boston PD during the sad days following the "attack" in April. They opened their arms to the folks & offered all their tips to the families of the fallen and injured.] The puppy bowls outside the hotel to the beds and the service people to the... More

I travel to Boston for business from time to time and always look forward to staying at the Lenox. The service is outstanding. welcoming and friendly at all times. It has classic, Old World feel, but very many modern amenities. The only area they could improve is their fitness center. It's very small and has a low ceiling. Otherwise, top... More

Everything was just perfect! Boutique hotel with 5* service. Very cosy atmosphere: you feel you're in a historical place. Well located to visit Boston. Free coffe, tea & soft drinks in the lobby. We do recommend to everyone.

This place is so cool and retro, original retro :) It is spotless, beds super comfy and really cool pool. Located near Tanglewood, it was a great spot for us to see a concert and rest afterward! Easy check in, and out.

We choose this mainly for its location. It is very near a number of chain and a few local restaurants. The manager was very friendly and the room was clean. Room 112 that we just happened to get was ideal as the two sections of the inn form an L but with a roofed over hallway between them. It has... More
