I stayed here overnight & it was just right for me. People are friendly & helpful, the place is nice & clean & it was very convenient to walk all around town, to other businesses & restaurants. It was also reasonable, compared to other places in town. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, as well as the surroundings.

Although The Village Inn may not be perfect for everyone, it was perfect for us this weekend. Found it via web, searching for something affordable, in Lenox. Was right in the center of the town, walking distance from the Green, restaurants, 5 min. drive to Tanglewood. Room was small, but as it was our home base, it was fine. Clean,... More

Really Nice place. An old building, so don't expect anything modern. But it's charming, and the staff are very friendly. Room is not too big, but it has that special thing: Nice, cosy, old furniture etc. Brakfast Is super. So Yeah, I liked it very much.

B&B usually are quaint, welcoming, nice breakfasts. Not what we experienced. The B&B was in need of repair, felt like it needed a good cleaning. ( although it was neatly kept). We had a Queen size bed, but it was actually two twins put together. The Tv was old and only had a few channels that were audible. The coffee... More

The Village Inn is close to being a real find in Lenox. Similar lodging will be far more expensive. The staff is wonderful - knowledgeable, accommodating, eager to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast was plentiful, offered a variety of items, and was kept hot and refreshed through the service hours. The location is wonderful - within 5 minutes of... More

Ok.. So this place works well if you are above 65 years old and like the old world charm of B and B's. It's quaint and charming but good lord this place needs some serious upgrading..Nothing has changed since 1975 and it shows.. And the rooms are tight and tiny with these queen beds that are actually two random twin... More

The Villiage Inn is one of the few affordable 'b&b' type hotels in the area. To start it's not really a b&b and more like an old style hotel. Beyond affordable, well located is about all that it was, but I would have much preferred to spend my money on the Quality Inn (now the Black Swan I think) down... More

Everything you want in winter Lenox including pretty good heating. Rooms are the usual combination of old furniture and chintz that seems so much in style in Lenox you would think there was a law mandating it. Staff friendly. Fluffy towels and clean. Breakfast is the meal to eat. Dinner was a disappointment. Why go to Lenox in the winter?... More

30 friends and I spent last weekend at the Village Inn to celebrate some milestone birthdays and the service/hospitality could not have been better. Plenty of food for breakfast and numerous choices, lovely rooms, and a fabulous dinner party in their restaurant. The dinner food and cocktail hour/hor'douvres the chef had arranged with me were especially terrific and great value.... More
