When me and my husband first walked up to this big pastel mansion, I had doubts that it would be some cheap resort, attempting to pull off a Victorian physique. Upon entering the inn, we were greeted with genuine hospitality as well as an immediate at-home feel. We were shown up to our room— a room in which was much... More

My friend and I were traveling for a few days and made reservations well in advance to the Rookwood Inn. Expecting a warm, cozy experience was far from what we actually received. We have been staying at B & B's for decades and this is the first one where you had to dial and call to let them know that... More

The Rookwood is a true gem in Lenox, from when I stepped foot in the door I moved back a century with their Victorian themed dinning room and parlor. Each morning the staff greeted me with the most welcoming smiles asking me how I was doing. I felt right at home with Chris, Jen, Callie and Alana best staff ever.... More

We were able to procure a last minute stay over the weekend. Situated 1 block for "downtown Lennox and 1 mile from Tanglewood, the house is well maintained and the rooms very comfortable and clean. Some have little porches and there's a quiet porch in front. Breakfast was a treat. Fresh fruit, a Farmers' casserole, yogurts, juices, coffee, etc. The... More

The guest house is in a very nice area, rooms are out dated even on an inn standard. Rooms are cold and air con,not working properly Reservation stalk not to helpful. Needed a coke in the late evening and could not get one. Over all , not worth the money that I paid and I would think twice about returning... More

I attended a conference at the Rookwood Inn last December & my thoughts turn back with warmth-wish there were one to go to this year. This Inn is beautifully decorated for the holidays, the innkeeper, who is also a Justice of the Peace authorized to conduct weddings in Massachusetts, is lovely, empathetic and responsive, the food is wonderful, and the bedrooms... We stayed at the Rookwood a number of times in the past few years. It is a convenient drive from New York, and the guests are always treated warmly by both the owner and staff. The rooms are unique and very comfortable. We travel widely, and this is my favorite B&B. enjoy a restful stay here.

My family stayed at the Inn for a Fall weekend to see the colorful leaves and do a little shopping. It was just what the doctor ordered. The rooms are decorated beautifully with every convenience you could want. We had a fireplace that was easy to light and gave our room warmth on a cool and rainy fall evening. Amy,... More

I am so glad that you and your family enjoyed your fall weekend here at The Rookwood Inn. It is true that not all of our rooms have televisions; not all of our guests want them. But, if you let us know that a television is important to you, we will do our best to help you select a room... More

This warm and comfortable bed and breakfast is beautifully kept, has delicious breakfasts, cordial host and staff. The inn is right in the heart of town for easy walking to the many small shops and restaurants that make Lenox a desirable destination. Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston symphony) and Jacob's Pillow, home to dance lovers for decades, are nearby,... More

We stayed at the inn for a one night getaway on a Monday. The inn is within walking distance to the center of Lenox, has a lot of character and was very clean. Amy, the innkeeper, was very helpful when we asked for recommendations for restaurants and directions. I booked a room on the third floor, which was very comfortable,... More
