We found the Kemble Inn during a TripAdvisor search of The Berkshires and we are extremely glad we did! It is a charming country inn with a very attentive and helpful staff. The staff adequately balanced offering assistance while also allowing for privacy. Every single one of them we came in contact with was exceptional. Breakfast was included in our... More

The minute we walked into this beautifully appointed mansion and greeted by Salvatore, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room, number 203, was at the top of the stairs and was lovely, bright, and welcoming. Bedding was luxurious, bed comfortable, bathroom floor heated, room nicely furnished. (Only comment would be to hang some pictures on the wall...)... More

Kemble Inn exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. We stayed in room 202 and recommend it any couple. We didn't get charged for coffee and water upon arrival which was nice. The restaurant was amazing and the prix fixe menu was quite a bargain and the chef was willing to work around food... More

The location of this inn was fantastic, set right in town! The building is very imposing and feels very grand. We had the most expensive room, however paid a reduced rate as there was a special offer on and we are really pleased we did, even at half price it wasn't really worth it. Our room was large and the... More

Absolutely amazing place. We had a very beautiful room and bathroom with a fireplace in both. Service was great, very friendly, funny staff! They told us the breakfast is continental which I wasnt very excited about, but it was definitely the best continental breakfast I've had. The fresh warm pastry with jams and yogurt with granola. Then about 5 choices... More

The inn is managed like the luxury hotel it is. The staff is as courteous and attentive and you can expect. The rooms are done in excellent taste and the food is wonderful. A week-end at the Inn is well worth it.

Wonderful stay at the Kemble inn over the weekend. Food was lovely and the staff could not have been nicer. A really enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The nicest staff we have met so far on our trip

Really superb service and cuisine. Beautiful outdoor dining area. Very professional staff and gracious host. Perhaps just a little overpriced (and the chef was stingy with the bread!). Still, a really special venue for a leisurely Berkshire evening.

This hotel is not cheap, even when Tanglewood is over and rooms are not that hard to come by. The place has been decorated with panache, and the restaurant is great. However, the room at over $500 per night leaves a lot to be desired. First the plusses: good location, comfortable bed and linens, nice towels, old structure not horribly... More

Thank you for taking the time to share the good and the not-so-good that happened with your stay. We are planning even more renovations to be in place by the end of winter - enlargement of rooms and renovations of bathrooms with additional lighting. We do, of course, have extra towels and offer them readily when guests request them and... More

I perform at Tanglewood, with the Festival Chorus, and was pleased to see that this Inn provides a weekly Thursday night bonfire and free popcorn during the summer, which is open to the public. It's a wonderful view of the sunset from their back yard/patio and the small plates are tasty as well. A nice gesture all in all, for... More

You singers in the Tanglewood Festival Chorus are fabulous. We heard great comments this season on your performances of Mahler's II, Alexander Nevsky, and Candide. I'm glad you discovered our Brew 'n Bonfire firepit nights, which are summer Thursdays. We serve craft beer selections and start about 30 minutes before sunset. (This week before Labor Day will be the final... More
