My husband and I just stayed for our anniversary gettaway weekend. It was beautiful quiet very clean I love all the antiques and historic charm. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the service was impeccable. The gardens were so beautiful we sat and had a little picnic in the afternoon. Thank you for such a great weekend you were... We have stayed at this Inn already two times (second time - a week ago) and I am sure we will stay again next time when we come to Berkshires. It is a very charming place with a lot of antique details, cozy library and music rooms. The hosts, Lisa, Joan and Richard, are a very nice family, who enjoy... More

The reservation for the Whistler Inn was made for a last minute getaway. It was priced fairly well compared to others; however, most places were booked because of a popular concert at Tanglewood that weekend. The actual Inn is very charming, nestled in greenery and planted on a big lot. Lots of old world charm inside with a lot of... More

The excellent service, old world ambiance and location was spoilt by the size of the room. It might be OK if visiting one night with limited luggage or as a single traveler. Our room was small and cluttered.

If you want a characterful and historic B & B with engaging and hospitable hosts, Whistler's Inn is definitely worth a visit. The property reflects a bygone era, being full of antiques, paintings and artefacts that create a unique ambience. Our bedroom was perfectly adequate for our 2 night stay, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a number of... More

I stayed here 20 years ago and remembered having a wonderful experience then. Lisa, Richard and Jane, still make the expereinece a true delight, as they did in the past. They serve a sumptuous breakfast, with all sorts of home made goodies and even brandy is available for a night cap in the parlor. There are many interesting sitting rooms,... More

I am not an experienced Bed and Breakfast traveler, but wanted to give it a try. This Inn is in Lenox, which is a town brimming with B+B options at all prices. The family who owns and runs this inn are delightful and put forth a wonderful breakfast, but the single person who has to manage it all is at... More

Room on my confirmation was listed as " Room 1, Double Room". What we were assigned was a tiny room that was completely unacceptable and dissappointing. In particular: - Bathroom with a toilet that could only be utilized by sitting sideways. - An uncomfortable thin mattress that was underlain with a piece of plywood! -A bathroom door with a faulty... The guests booked a room at Whistler's Inn through a third party online. The same room was booked three times on the same day by the same third party online. If there is a discrepancy according to that third party, our facility is required to accommodate the guest with a comparable room as the room he or she originally booked... More

Here's the bottom line: If you like your inns dilapidated and your innkeepers aloof, spend your money here. If you like paying for amenities advertised that you won't receive, spend your money here. If you believe a house full of antiques and a pinch of history can compensate for lousy hospitality and minimal upkeep, spend your money here. If you... More
