The common rooms are very charming with interesting decor and the grounds are very nice, though we didn't take advantage of them due to the weather. Breakfast was very good and the owners were friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bath could use some updating and I don't think the radiators work well because we were given an electric space... more

Stayed in Mr. Whistler's bedroom- a lovely spacious room with a humongous bed and a nice fireplace. The inn has beautifully appointed common spaces on the first floor as well. Great location. Friendly hosts. Only drawbacks were that the breakfasts were nothing special. more

We just arrived home after spending a week in lovely New England, viewing the Fall foliage. We stayed one night at Whistler's Inn, and what a awful experience! Were do I begin? When we arrived, Joan, our hostess 'greeted us' as though we were interupting something. The house was huge and formal, but very unwelcoming. Out of three fireplaces, none... more

My wife and I sent a mid-week night at the Whistler and thoroughly enjoyed it. The price was excellent and the hosts were charming and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the coffee excellent!! The public rooms are beautiful and welcoming. We loved the library!! The guest room we were in was a little worn but was a great... more

I have come back here for many years., Tanglewood is around the corner. The place is absolutedly charming, for anybody that has any sense of history, this place will take you to life in the Victorian Berkshires. Just meeting the family that runs the place, well seasoned travelers around the world, will make your stay special. I love those hearty... more

The gardens were charming and disarming. The flowers were beautiful and the sunshine was wonderful. Summertime there was beyond compare. The stay was lovely as I recall it today. I would recommend it to a friend. more

The Inn is well located and common area is beautifully furnished with a lot of antic but the room I stayed is extremely small (never stayed in a such a tiny room before), towels are also tiny and wallpaper looks old. The breakfast served quite late, so I was never able to try it. I do love staying in B&B... more

My husband and I stayed here due to the Inn's close proximity to Tanglewood. We stayed in the Captain's Room, which we were told ahead of time is very small. The size of the room was indeed small, but that was not the issue. The walls were so soft in some spots due to water damage, that the wallpaper no... more

I stayed at the Whistler's Inn for 4 days, and found it to be an interesting place. My husband and I enjoy staying at B&Bs, and have stayed at many, both large and small. Whistler's is a large B&B with two buildings and many rooms. It is in a large house which is filled with antiques, books and artwork. It's... more

Whistler's Inn is an old old English Tudor manor house which keeps the antiquity of an era gone by. Some people don't like antiques. Some people don't like museums. Many people can not discuss the history of this great country. If you like antiques, art, literature and the history of this USA you will love Whistler's Inn. The owner Richard...

This is an old property, but it is very clean and spacious, with a grand piano, lots of books, and an outdoor patio facing the afternoon sun. The innkeepers were very pleasant. When I mentioned that the reservation rate quoted by Expedia was less than the rate on their web site, they honored the lower rate. We stayed in Mr... more
