Bug on pillow, 3 more on the floor, 2 more in the bathroom. Bring some bug spray if you have to stay there. Manager gave us some outdoor bug spray. Could have moved us to another room instead. Did not have a choice. Use the hotel.com coupon book room was $135.00 stayed there for $75.00 for one night.

Stay at the Super 8 right across the street. The people behind the desk at the Super 8 were extremely helpful; the Super 8 gets a wider selection of television channels than does the Pilgrim Inn; you won't have to cross the street to go to Dunkin Donuts. Just a nicer all-around experience at the Super 8.

Perfectly fine - clean rooms, new carpets, comfortable beds. Room had small refrigerator and microwave which I did not expect. A/C worked fine - room-darkening drapes were really appreciated. We did not visit the complementary continental breakfast in the morning - headed across the street to Rose's - plenty of other choices close-by as well. Proprietor was a little testy... More

This is the only place we could find near Tanglewood for the 4th of July/James Taylor concert weekend with rooms still available. It is a hugely popular event - a classic New England summertime thing - so prices everywhere are at at a premium. This inn is older, a bit run-down, and is acceptable just as a place to sleep... We stayed when a snow storm forced us to stop. We called ahead and they waited up for us. It's not fancy; in fact, it's very basic, but it's clean and pretty comfortable. The price was very reasonable, but February is probably cheaper than in-season. There is a mini fridge and microwave in addition to the coffeepot. They don't take... More

I stumbled onto this property on my travels. I normally look to stay in Hilton or Marriott chains but since none were around, I took my chances on this lovely motel and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was and what a reasonable price they offered. Beds were comfy and it was nice and clean in the room as... More

We had car trouble and had to be towed. Pilgrim Inn was recommended to us. Accommodations were very nice, nothing fancy but clean. Our vehicle would not be ready until late afternoon the next day and proprietor allowed us to stay on in our room, without charge. He was a very nice man and we so appreciated the Southern Hospitality... More

I needed a place to stay while passing through over Thanksgiving and stopped without a reservation. The front desk was helpful, the rate was reasonable and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. And while I didn't stay long enough to need either one, it was a nice touch to have a mini-fridge and microwave in the room along with... More

My wife and I found the room to be clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly. Two queen beds. Large shopping mall about 5 minutes away. Restaurants within walking distance. We will stay there again any time we are in the area.

I planned a trip with 3 friends. The day before the trip I had an accident and had to cancel. My travel agent tried three times to speak to a manager concerning my problem and why I had to cancel. They never returned any phone calls !! They charged me for the room even though I sent to them a... More
