Overpriced. We stayed there for 1 night. We found an advertisement to stay at low price. We arrived there and we pay more than the double. Room very ugly for the price I paid. Breakfast very poor. Nothing to eat. Bad experience. Stay away

We stay there august 12 and 13. We have made reservation 3 month before and have taken the precaution to confirm just 2 days before our stay. According the confirmation the price was for two nights was 179$ + tax and since the place was advertising "pet friendly' we have also mention that we will travel with our pet. Surprise,... More

I popped in about 6pm on a Sunday. They have 1 room for a service dog and it was vacant so they let me stay with my sick pup. By 7pm I got a neighbor, about mid-60's from Tennessee, and they loved to slam the door, especially the husband. He would walk out of the door, quietly close it and... More

There is nothing special at all about this small hotel. We stayed in the "house" building, a somewhat darker alternative to the motel style other rooms. There is a fairly nice pool, and the front desk person was pleasant. Our room was very small and dark, the sink did not drain well, and the free breakfast consists of plastic wrapped... More

Bug on pillow, 3 more on the floor, 2 more in the bathroom. Bring some bug spray if you have to stay there. Manager gave us some outdoor bug spray. Could have moved us to another room instead. Did not have a choice. Use the hotel.com coupon book room was $135.00 stayed there for $75.00 for one night.

Stay at the Super 8 right across the street. The people behind the desk at the Super 8 were extremely helpful; the Super 8 gets a wider selection of television channels than does the Pilgrim Inn; you won't have to cross the street to go to Dunkin Donuts. Just a nicer all-around experience at the Super 8.

Perfectly fine - clean rooms, new carpets, comfortable beds. Room had small refrigerator and microwave which I did not expect. A/C worked fine - room-darkening drapes were really appreciated. We did not visit the complementary continental breakfast in the morning - headed across the street to Rose's - plenty of other choices close-by as well. Proprietor was a little testy... More

This is the only place we could find near Tanglewood for the 4th of July/James Taylor concert weekend with rooms still available. It is a hugely popular event - a classic New England summertime thing - so prices everywhere are at at a premium. This inn is older, a bit run-down, and is acceptable just as a place to sleep... We stayed when a snow storm forced us to stop. We called ahead and they waited up for us. It's not fancy; in fact, it's very basic, but it's clean and pretty comfortable. The price was very reasonable, but February is probably cheaper than in-season. There is a mini fridge and microwave in addition to the coffeepot. They don't take... More

I stumbled onto this property on my travels. I normally look to stay in Hilton or Marriott chains but since none were around, I took my chances on this lovely motel and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was and what a reasonable price they offered. Beds were comfy and it was nice and clean in the room as... More
