Absolute Perfect escape from everyday life. Bruce and Ronnie were very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, and the house was a great escape. We would highly recommend this to anyone who just wants to get away for a bit!! more

We wanted a quiet New Years getaway and we got exactly what we asked for. The Devonfield Inn is a perfect escape - a charming BB located on 32 acres of land - tastefully decorated and very clean. We had the Roosevelt room which has a jacuzzi and an actual wood burning fireplace in the room (which was the selling... more

Overall I think this was a very nice B&B. It definitely has an "older" feel to it, but it did have a lot of extras that we haven't found in other B&B's. They had a great little snack area with cookies and pastries, a DVD/video library and computer to use. Nice little extras. Breakfast was good too! Bathroom could have... more

We came in the offseason (Dec). We stayed in Room #4, which has the wonderful amenity of a tub IN the bedroom itself. Terribly romantic! The rooms (and the house itself) are in a beautifully decorated, romantic old house, so we didnt' mind that they were a bit drafty (in July I bet it's lovely.) Breakfasts were great, plenty of... more

We wanted to have a one night getwaway not too far from home that had all the amenities. The Inn was completely booked but was certainly large enough, and beautifully decorated, to not at all feel crrowded. We stayed in the Penthouse room on the top floor of the Devonfield Inn. This particular room was more like a ski chalet... more

My husband and I needed a get-away and Devonfield satisfied all of our needs and expectations. Lovely cottage, quiet and secluded, well-appointed and perfect for our romantic respite. Ronnie and Bruce, the innkeepers, were very sensitive to our needs and were most gracious. more

If you run, or are thinking of running a B&B, then go and stay at the Devonfield Country Inn just to experience how a B&B should be. Warm and informed reception; comfortable room (Sedgewick); Kitchen available for our use; magazines and books around; port and brandy on the sideboard when we returned from dinner; good breakfast; chance of seeing a... more

The Inn is gorgeous. The Singers were lovely hosts. The rooms were equipped with wood-burning fireplaces which was a great addition to the ambiance. The town is very charming. Lovely grounds. Just wished that there had more choices for breakfast......maybe some bacon or sausage.......other than the one choice. But it was a great stay. Would go back again. Thanks, Ronnie... more

Excellent accommodations, staff and breakfasts. Beautiful common rooms, gardens, with the unusual addition of both a well-kept tennis court and clean and inviting pool....rare in this area of the Berkshires. we make it a priority to spend at least one weekend a summer and one weekend in the winter at the lovely Devonfield. more
