We stayed two nights and found the Inn to be relaxing and accomodating. Welcomed by Pam and toured the Inn before settling into our cozy room. The public spaces are gracious and the grounds divine. We enjoyed the pool a great deal. Room was small and unfortunately our curtain rod fell off while we were out one day but the... More

We stayed here for only one night and I am spoiled forevermore. Can't say enough good about it..............the room was gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful, nice touch by having wine and cheese in the afternoon and a great breakfast. I felt like it was my home..........Gloria and Len do it right!!!!!!!!!

A welcome setting with warm and friendly owners and guests. All engaged in fun conversation and the July 4th weekend crowd in from all over the Northeast to enjoy James Taylor's sold out 2 nights was the highlight experience and conversation. Breakfast was a nice experience and the morning eating out on the porch poolside was a slice of heaven.... More

This place has absolutely spoiled me for other places. Gloria and Len are such wonderful hosts! From the minute you arrive till the time when you have to sadly depart, this lovely inn becomes your home away from home. The breakfasts are phenomenal and Len makes it a point to come around and chat. Annemarie is a culinary artist! There... More

This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, and I believe we are probably ruined for any other bed and breakfast experience. The Applegate Inn is like stepping back in time. We had a spectacular suite in the Main House. If you visit the website it is Room 8. The pictures on the website are amazing, but in... More

My lifelong friends and I (6 of us) have been going to the Berkshires the same weekend for the last 5 years now. This was the first year we have stayed at the Applegate Inn. We were greeted by the lovely Pam, the innkeeper. She showed us around the main house and our cute Carriage House Suite. It slept 4... More

Applegate was all decorated for the holidays which, for us, was delightful. Pam greeted us warmly and showed us to our room which we loved! A charming gas fireplace, canopied bed, two comfortable wing back chairs for reading, and four lovely windows which allow the sun and light to pour in. The bathroom did lack counter space, but had an... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Applegate Inn in early November and we both agree that this B&B is not worth the money they are charging. When we first arrived we were met not by the Innkeepers but by an employee who showed us to our room on the second floor. No offer was made to help... More

We stayed in the Carriage house suite; kitchen, living room, dinning room, 2 bedrooms, private deck, bath, could sleep 6. Wallpaper could use update but suite was clean and comfortable. The floors were creaky and I felt bad for the people below. TVs on the small side but I didn't travel to the Berkshires to watch TV! The manager Pam... More

Applegate Inn, set on a leafy street in The Berkshires has an old world charm. It's not modern, the furnishings are traditional, some may find it cluttered, others may find it homely. What cannot be disputed is the welcome and hospitality of the hosts, Gloria and Len. We enjoyed them immensely. Our room was charming - chintzy but in a... More
