The room was dark, damp and almost depressing. Lighting was poor. We stayed two nights and honestly although raining we did everything we could to avoid staying in our room. We intended on spending three nights but cut our weekend short to return home a day earlier rather than spend another night in this hotel although we did contemplate booking... more

This hotel is now a Quality Inn, but the name Quality is a misnomer. Despite new management, the building, facilities, and carpets are tired and in need of updating. We stayed here with our 2 children for a little get away ski trip. The staff knew very little about winter activities in the area, as apparently they cater more to... more

The hotel is fantastic value. We spent two nights in a king-sized room with a balcony overlooking the lake for $79 a night. The room was large and clean. The decor was a little floral for my taste however, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the television got tons of channels. The hotel has a good Indian restaurant onsite and... more

We booked this place because of its trip advisor reports, location and price and we certainly made a good choice....not posh! but very comfortable..we had a good sized room on the first floor overlooking the lake...like something out of Golden Pond!!. The beds were comfortable and clean..the bathroom also clean and OK....we had a balcony (room 212) and enjoyed an... more

We chose this accommodation to be close to Tanglewood, and for the reputation of its attached Bombay Bar & Grill. The Inn met all of our needs - it was comfortable, clean and convenient, if not lavish. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again - or at least have dinner at the Bombay. Next time, we... more

We recently spent 2 nights here while visiting our son who is working at Jacob's Pillow for the summer. We had a lovely, clean, well-furnished room with mini-fridge and a patio overlooking the lake.Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. I loved the patio and the view. When it got too hot to be outside I could lay on our... more

We had a spacious room on the second floor with a balcony over Laurel Lake. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I recommend the hotel, but I rave about its restaurant, the Bombay Cafe. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had, and I have eaten at many Indian restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well... more

Those older reviews are right about the excellent food, the great view, and the older conditions of the hotel. It is becoming a Quality Inn and getting a major overhaul to meet those standards. There are new owners who purchased in February and they are excited about upgrading the rooms, beds, lobby, etc. and the service (excellent). Make sure to... more

The view is beautiful, the lake is wonderful. However the service and the state of the hotel on a whole is down right terrible. When we walked in, the staff was cold and unwelcoming. The rooms and hallways were dark and gloomy. The state of the Inn was in shambles. When you first drive down the driveway, the first thing... more

We had an overnight stay here last month in one of the lakeside rooms on the ground floor. This was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to chill out on our personal deck overlooking the lake. There was a swimming pool here which looked quite clean. Best of all was the Bombay Indian Restaurant on... more
