My husband and I just spent a delightful 3-day weekend at the Jonathan Foote House in Lee. We've been to many b&b's in the Berkshires and this one is the best! Impeccably maintained, ideally situated, with delectable breakfasts, it features elegant simplicity. The rooms are simple, but with all the right touches: top notch shampoo/conditioner provided via dispensers in the... More

We spent two nights at the Jonathan Foote 1778 House and had a very pleasant stay. The grounds are lovely and it is a good location. Enjoyed the big basket of magazines in the room along with other special touches that Joanne does to make the inn a special place. A tasty breakfast is served on a lovely outdoor cover... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Jonathan Foote 1778 House in Lee. We would highly recommend it to other travelers. The Inn sits away from the road on a 4 acre property, which is convenient to the Mass Pike and other highways. JoAnn serves a delicious homemade breakfast either in the quaint dining room or outside... More

Owners JoAnn & Bruce Zarnoch are lovely hosts. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms just right for a stay in the Berkshires. We have been there twice already and intend to go back for a return every time we return visit. Maxine G

I have stayed at the Jonathan Foote 1778 House several times over the last few years, accompanied by various friends and family. We have a fabulous time each and every time we go. The house and the rooms are lovely, the grounds absolutely beautiful. JoAnn, a co-proprietor, serves a wonderful breakfast. We've met great folks there each time we go.... More

Four of us just got back from a wonderful Mother’s day weekend at the Jonathon Foote 1778 House. Jonathon Foote House was absolutely one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in. The house is set on a beautiful property above the town of Lee making it a great jumping off point for any part of Berkshire County. We... More

The Jonathan Foote House is perfect for a getaway. The hosts are friendly and helpful; the setting is a beautiful antique colonial filled with period furnishings. We were there for a winter weekend, but the setting would be just as lovely at any season. The location is also excellent: just off the Mass. Turnpike, a short drive to Lenox, Stockbridge,... More

This was our 4th time staying at this lovely 1778 house -- we LOVE it. JoAnn and Bruce, who run this B&B are wonderful hosts. I(Sara) grew up in a Columbia County, NY farmhouse, two rooms of which were built in the late 1700s, spent a lot of time in the Berkshires growing up. We both now love to spend... More

We spent an overnight at the Jonathan Foote 1778 house before a day of skiing at Butternut right after Christmas. Our hostess Joanne was very charming and extremely welcoming, with just the right balance between conversation and privacy. Adorable Ceili, their golden retriever was very affectionate and waited to be called before approaching us. Beautiful, impeccably kept home with lovely... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful inn in the Berkshire hills. We were given a warm welcome by the lovely Joanne, Bruce and Ceili the dog. Our room was spacious and a delight to return to after a day of sightseeing. Joanne's scrumptious breakfasts are a must have and not to be missed. Everyday was different and sourced... More
