We recently stayed with the Inn for a wedding that was being held at the Castle Hill Estate and felt right at home. A short walk from the beach with a large front porch, it was no surprise how easy it was for us to relax. The breakfast was also quite yummy.

Except for one thing, I would agree with all the superlative reviews of this place. That one thing, however, is ruinous to the experience of a lovely inn in a natural setting. The inn is part of the Crane Estate and adjacent to the main house, where the management holds parties for hire with cheesy rock bands or dee jays... More

We sincerely apologize that your peaceful experience was disrupted by a wedding being held at the Great House. We do everything in our power to protect our serene environment. Occasionally, the wind or speaker orientation allows the sound to carry. Please feel welcome to call me directly if you would like to discuss further. Thank you. More

I love the Inn at Castle Hill. It is a lovely house with wraparound veranda to sit and enjoy the view of salt marshes and ocean. It is just the kind of coastal New England getaway spot one dreams of! And, it is delightful in all seasons. In summer, you can walk or drive just a few minutes down to... More

For several years we looked at the pictures of the Inn at Castle Hill and told ourselves that this would be a great place to get away. We finally decided to go for it to celebrate our anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and then some. You can take a look at the little things and tell the good... More

The setting is magical, the inn is stylish comfortably stylish, the staff is friendly, professional and caring! This was our sixth visit and each has been wonderful. Can't decide which are more beautiful - the sun rises from our room or the sunsets from the grounds. The grounds offer amazing walking opportunities through woodlands and dunes, or on the beach.... In Sept. of 2014 we were on vacation in Mass, staying at our timeshare in Bentley Brook. We decided to leave a few days early and travel to Western Mass. We googled Bed and Breakfasts in Worchester, Mass and found The Inn at Castle Hill and we found a GEM! Upon our arrival we were able to choose our own... More

The most beautiful property with gorgeous grounds and plush rooms. Close to great local restaurants and the beach can be seen and heard from your window. The staff is courteous and efficient. Rooms include an amazing breakfast prepared to order. The linens on the beds are fabulous and the rooms airy, clean and filled with period furniture.

This was our second stay in the fall at the inn and I hope there will be many more as it has become one of my favorite places to stay and explore. Arriving midweek we had the inn to ourselves for a few days so it felt like our own home. This is particularly appreciated when enjoying the fireplace at... More

We spent just one Sunday night at the Inn at Castle Hill on July 13, 2014. We could not have picked a more perfect place to indulge in a romantic, serene, cozy night away near the beach. The inn itself is beautiful and located on the gorgeous grounds of The Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA. There are gorgeous views of... More

I need to get out of the city once in a while and I like it to be easy. I need sun and sand and nature and ease of human contact when I do this. I got just that and more at the Inn. A gracious, helpful, non intrusive welcome greeted me when I checked in with a sincerity that... More
