Went here for breakfast with my mom. The food was very good and it was nice to eat outside on the deck. We did not stay at the inn but it is great for breakfast. The hash is homemade and you can get a biscuit instead of toast if you want.

One of my only pet peeves travelling is how clean the rooms are. We stayed in the Wicker Room. The shower curtain was covered in mold and smelled AWFUL! That started me off on the wrong foot with this place. The room also needed to be vacuumed and dusted. For the most part the inn was pretty quiet but I... More

Room was just lovely.... bright, cheerful and LOVED the bath tub!!! Margaret and Ray are just delightful and could not possibly be better hosts! Try the orange French toast for breakfast - SUPERB!!!! After a quick walk down the hill, jump on the train to Boston. Salem Witches are just a stone's throw away. OR.. just hang out on the... More

Had a great stay at the Ipswich Inn in May. The inn is a wonderful old house, the proprietors are friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was well-prepared and served in a bright sunny room. I felt right at home there. It is surrounded on all sides by historic houses and is a very short... More

Arrived on Saturday afternoon for a Wedding at five close by! Settled in and relaxed before it was time to get ready. We had trouble trying to turn on the TV and called the front desk for assistance....when we got back at 10:00 PM there was a note on the door saying that it was all set! We had a... More

We all loved the Ipswich Inn. They were all very accomodating and made sure we had a place to put our belongings before our wedding at the hellenic center. Check in was very easy. Clean b&b with Ipswich charm. Highly recommended for a low key group- groups looking to get rowdy look elsewhere.

We stayed here Memorial Day Weekend, and the experience was great. Our room was clean, decorated perfectly, and the bed was very comfortable! Check in was easy, and Ray was the best host. He gave us recommendations for lunch/dinner (which was amazing), and was available for anything that we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and I never felt... More

Lovely inn with lots of charm. The Morleys are incredibly friendly and accomodating hosts. We've been coming here for over ten years. It's always been a nice experience - very clean. Have usually stayed in the East Room, which is very nice. This time we treated ourselves to the Veranda Room - wonderful! (I especially enjoyed the big bathroom with lots... More

I have stayed at the Ipswich Inn twice in 2015. I plan to stay there more. I am giving a five star rating for the above and beyond service Ray and Margaret Morley provided me while I was there. I came in late the night of the Super Bowl and they provided hot chilli and a beer to watch the... More

We enjoyed staying at the Ipswich Inn. The hosts were very accommodating and the room was charming and clean. Full breakfast is included, with many options - you will not go away hungry. Very convenient to downtown Ipswich - a quiet and charming location.
