We were in the Cape Cod area for the weekend on business and wanted a decent place to rest. First, we don't know what to expect as far as hotels and inns in this area, so this review is based on comparable hotels ratings. I found the lobby to be small and very mom and pop-ish. There are several buildings... more

Thank you for your recent comments concerning our property. We always welcome any input from our guests. Our hotel is AAA 3 diamond rated property with as you had said a terrific location. Your concerns about the cleanliness of our bathrooms surprised us. This was most certainly an anomaly. Our housekeeping staff has very strict standards. We are addressing these...

I've stayed at this hotel on the Main Street of Hyannis on many occasions. I've been lodged there with 19 other golfers through the years and also brought my wife and friends there to enjoy the hospitality of ,Jan, one of the owners and an attentive host. Jan was born in The Netherlands and his couteous attention to the details... more

About 14 of us make an annual trek to the Cape for early-season golf. Most of us are teachers, and this is our April vacation week. Coming from the snow and rain of New Hampshire, we stay at the Heritage House every year. Not only do they provide by far the most affordable and accommodating stay, they create the entire... more

This hotel was built a while ago, but it has many advantages, especially if you want to be on Cape Cod in the off-season. The rates are reasonable. It is very close to boats, if you want to go to Nantucket Island or Martha's Vineyard for an off-season visit - very relaxing! There is a wonderful heated pool with plants... more

As part of a New England tour, our motorcoach full of tourists (50 of us) stayed for a week at the Heritage House. Fortunately, I had a wonderful fantastic time on the tour. The hotel, however, was not the highlight -- I had such a good time going to Martha's Vineyard and touring Plymouth Rock, Boston, etc.,etc.,that I hate to... more

The Heritage House Hotel has three buildings totaling 143 rooms and each facility is equally secure, and entry to each building and room is only acquired by the individual key card held by our registered guests and we police our buildings and parking lot area all through the night. Our towels and bedding are properly disposed of once they wear...

Stayed there on Christmas Eve, after getting to Hyannis too late for boat or plane to Nantucket. The beds were in bad shape, the room smelled of too much deodorizer, the mini refrigerator buzzed and buzzed until I had to unplug it, the soda machines were all out of what I wanted. I hope other people have had better luck,... more

We sympathize with the frustration of not being able to take a plane or boat to the islands, especially on a night such as Christmas Eve. We know how difficult it can be in situations like the one you were faced with. We apologize that you feel our guest room smelt too much of deodorizer but we periodically wash the...

Walked in to be greated by pleasent staff but the hotel was awful. Very dated, stale smelling and grubby with very small rooms. Nice view of car park and main road. Noisy with vending machines on outside wall of room. Broken bed. Checked out without spending the night. Best move we have made as other local hotels were much better.... more
