Just spent a long weekend at the Cape Codder for a family wedding. The rooms were booked at a "wedding rate", which was exactly the same as the website offering (almost $200/ night) . From the outside it looks like a seedy motel, but once inside the resort, the coutyard is beautiful. However, the rooms are small, dingy, musty and... more

I just returned from a weekend stay at this resort (7.18). Here is my two cents. The hotel from the outside looks run down. It is under major renovation. It looks like they are adding a third floor all the way around. I don't know if they are planning on fixing the existing cosmetics with regards to the original structure,... more

From the street, the hotel looked ordinary but looks can be deceiving! The interior lobby area and outside courtyard are beautiful. The flowers are amazing and at night, the lights and teakie torches were very nice. It's a great place for families: the wave pool and bon fire were great. They also have a large screen projector outside and show... more

Dingy rooms, weak aircondition, keys kept cancelling themselves requiring 7 trips back through the maze of buildings to the front desk who said it was because we let our cell phones get near the keys....tried keeping cell phone quarantined from the credit card keys but it made no difference. Fun place for kids but if you are with a large... more

Do you like staying in places where the furniture looks like something you might see on the side of the street with a sign that says "Free" ??? I stayed in one of their "Cape Codder" style rooms (almost $200.00/night) and this lovely room had frayed carpet, a nightstand that looked like something that had seen the abuse of a... more

My wife and I had a 3 day getaway from our 11 month old twins and 3 year old. I am not sure how I made the mistake of booking the cape codder. When we first pulled into the parking lot, we were afraid to even go in, as it looks very bad from the outside, and it sits right... more

We stayed two nights over the Mother's Day weekend in their "fireplace room". No fireplace...wall decoration with a candle-like aparatus inside to light. The room was very dirty and smelly. Spiders, ripped wallpaper, dust on walls. The hotel is under major reconstruction. The inside of the hotel is affected and the outside grounds are a major mess. There is no... more

Excellent value and facilities on the mid-Cape for great family fun. Our family loved the wave pool, game room, family-friendly movies and the evening bonfire. Rooms are very comfortable, nicely decorated, and are spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels and thoughtful amenities in the room. Ask for a room that overlooks the courtyard or you'll be looking at the parking lot.... more

I will not hurry back to the Cape Codder. The worst part was the staff--rudeness prevailed--and resolutions to problems were difficult. Here's a list of problems we encountered: the hallways smelled of mildew, front desk staff rude, room not clean (found one month old newspaper in room), unknown person discovered sleeping overnight on couch in common area--reported, loud party booked... more
