As you can see there is a man sleeping in my bed . I returned to find not only in sleeping but he had vomited all over my clothing . I was told I could sleep in the bunk next to him when I said that was on acceptable someone said I could sleep upstairs and she will sleep downstairs... More

HI-Hyannis, AKA the Angeline Crocker Hinckley Hostel in Hyannis is great place to spend a few days on Cape Cod. I have been there three times. The price, location and staff are all nothing short of fantastic. Each stay was excellent. It is located in downtown right across the street from the harbor and Aselton Park and a short walk... This hostel is clean and updated with spacious bathrooms and great showers, They include a substantial breakfast of yogurt, housemade granola, bread/toast, jams, peanut butter, oatmeal, coffee, tea, etc. The rooms were simple and clean with free wifi but the one drawback was the quality of the bunk beds. They were so cheap and fragile, I felt like I was... More

I had a wonderful 2-night stay here in August 2014. I was traveling alone and stayed in a 4-bunk female room. The hostel is clean and very conveniently located near the harbor and ferries to the islands as well as main street shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a free breakfast and coffee/tea all day;... More

I've traveled around and stayed in hostels, but was not prepared for this stay I guess. First and foremost, I will say this - this hostel was IMMACULATE. VERY clean bathrooms, the sheets felt clean, I had a clean towel (which was a nice perk), the entire hostel was so clean. They get endless stars/points/thumbs up for that - hands... More

Loved this hostel! Stayed in a private room that was upstairs and it was incredibly quiet. VERY clean and nice common spaces. Super cute and simple decor. Great location right next to the dock in Hyannis and lots of restaurants. I've been to a lot of hostels in the US and this one is at the top of the list.... More

Location is excellent - stones throw from the harbour. Short walk to the ferry terminals. Restaurants nearby in the same street and also up the road in the main town. There were bathrooms on each floor so no hassles accessing even though we didn't have ensuites. Beds were comfortable - slept well. Staff were young and energetic and friendly. Breakfast... More

On first glance, this stunning New England Style accommodationnis better than you would expect from hostel compared to typical hostels in North America and Europe. It was clean, homely, comfortable with all up to date applicances and faciliates. Set right right by Hyannis offers easy accesibility to ferry docks to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. It is also only a short... More

We spent 3 nights at HI Hyannis and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Firstly, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who gave us a map and jotted down some key locations for us without even having to ask. We were then given a quick tour of the main hostel building, which holds a kitchen, living and dining area, and... More

I've been at the HI Hyannis for 2 nights in Sept 2010. I was travelling alone and the staff at Hyannis was friendly and helpful. The location is great for outdoor activities, the ferries and the main street. The place itself is good, clean, spacious rooms. I highly recommend this hostel more than any hotel in the area.
