Stayed at this "hotel" for a local basketball tournament with a group of teenagers. Price was too much for the lack of amenities. No pool, drained and filled with construction debris. No restaurant, closed Friendly's was attached. No Room Service, unless Dominos delivery counts. Very dark hallways. Room was clean and the doors closed and locked. Sketchy people in the... More

When people are travelling on vacation or for business, and they pay money to stay at a hotel, they don't expect to stay at a homeless shelter. Period. End of story. This site is to review hotel experiences.

This was probably a great big place to stay and hold receptions - in 1990. Three adult businessmen traveling stayed three nights and two days. We arrived at the address, saw the closed restaurant connected to the hotel, saw a couple of currently pregnant baby mamma's smoking outside with their young children in strollers, some scrawny looking guys dressed in... I unfortunately had to stay in this place on business. My company had booked the room and truthfully, I don't think they are aware of what it has become. Tons of women with children roaming around. It's definitely a shelter. The first room I checked into smelled like urine and there was no running water. Across the hall they were... More

We are here now. It is certainly not the Holiday Inn it usd to be! Only half is a hotel and the rest is a Homeles shelter. Room is clean with new towels. Fire alarm just went off and we had to evacuate. If our stay was longer than 2 nights we would have changed hotels. Also, we had to... More

This is a rebadged Howard Johnson's. Stayed one night on business and was also alarmed at the people "hanging around". The room was actually very clean and bed comfortable. The hotel is under some degree of construction but it did not interfere with my visit. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. Also found out Holyoke is one of the... More

I booked a room for four people, two beds plus a roll-away. The room was completely disheveled -- the night table was in the middle of the room, the telephone didn't work, the TV and lamps were unplugged, and the bathroom had two used, filthy bars of soap and their wrappers. To have the room changed, I had to use... More

I made reservations from recommendations on another travel site (not trip advisor - I should have known better) - I looked up the hotel - checked out the pictures and it seemed like a nice place - and come on - a convention center - it HAS to be setup for a business traveler. I drove past the hotel at... More

I stayed here on a business trip because Homewood Suites (where I normally stay and is awesome) was fully booked. Trying to find another hotel nearby where the cost was on par with Homewood, Holyoke Hotel was comparable based on the pictures. Besides, noticing a strange amount of interesting folks and moms/grandmas with young kids that look like they came... More

This was a very disappointing stay. I reserved the room for $110 through Expedia, and wasn't expecting luxury, but the desk staff was horrendously unprofessional (the young woman who checked me in did not end her conversation with another employee about who was most "wasted" the night before), and the room surprisingly minimally equipped. No fridge, horribly toxic smelling soap,... More
