Back in Massachussetts for a family emergency and stayed again at the Penrose. I just want to reiterate my earlier review. This is a beautiful, comfortable, deeply old-fashioned house, an easy drive to the colleges, and you couldn't ask for kinder, friendlier hosts.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Penrose Victorian Inn this past weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. Nancy and Dick are so sweet and wow, the breakfast was amazing! The rooms were very clean and the attention to detail with decorating was fabulous. We couldnt have asked for a better stay. We will be back when the weather is warmer... More

My wife is a stained glass artist and was enrolled in a workshop at the nearby Snow Farm Craft Program so I researched the B & B's in the area and we decided on the Penrose Victorian. We could not have been happier with that choice. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family! Nancy and Dick are... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the Penrose Victorian Inn. The weekend away was our Christmas gift to ourselves after a busy holiday weekend. We couldn’t have picked a better place to do it. The accommodations were beautiful and lived up to the Victorian in the Penrose name. The entire home evoked the feeling of days... More

Beautiful, charming, relaxing , comfortable, interesting, Inn. What a great weekend. My friend and I went to the Wool and Fiber Festival in Springfield and stayed at the Penrose Inn for 2 nights. We joked that we were in the bridal suite because we are 2 girlfriends getting away from it all. It was wonderful to kick back and catch... More

My daughter and I needed a place to stay on her way to college, and though the Penrose is a little farther from her school than some others, I'm very glad we found our way there. Nancy and Dick are warm and friendly, but not intrusive. They made us very comfortable and helped us with navigating. The breakfast was tasty... More

My daughter and I were visiting the Northampton area and needed to locate a place to stay on fairly short notice. Dick kept me posted for a couple of days prior to the booking to see if the attic room would be available, since the 3 actual rooms were booked. The breakfasts were great, the inn very pretty. It was... More

We stayed in June to celebrate my husband's birthday with a painting course at Snow Farm. The inn is charming, the hosts delightful and the breakfasts are yummy! We had a nice variety of breakfast menus giving us a hardy meal to start our day. The inn is in an ideal location - just a few miles from Snow Farm... More

This was our third stay at this lovely inn. We have always found it immaculately clean, very comfortable and delicious breakfasts! Nancy and Dick are so welcoming and gracious. We enjoy staying in "the Painted Lady"--a room filled with antiques and many Victorian curios. We will be back!

We were lucky to spend one night at this beautiful inn. Nancy and Dick were wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable. As soon as we arrived, Dick showed us all three guest rooms, since no one else had arrived yet. He was great about showing us how to get into town and making sure that we knew where... More
