The property is a beautiful, with flowers around the home, and a gazebo that is relaxing, although cooler weather doesn't always make it available. Rooms were large and comfortable, bathrooms very decadent but comfortable. The hosts made it just like sitting at mom's table or standing in the kitchen talking to Mom and Dad while they made breakfast. Fascinating wall... More

While conducting business in the area I was most fortunate to have an opportunity to spend a night at the Penrose Victorian Inn. What a wonderful escape from my fast paced, every day environment and cookie cutter hotels!. The Inn is inviting, comfortable, and takes one back to a time when live seemed more simple. Dick and Nancy were the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Penrose while attending a school reunion. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and charming. We were in the Brides Room. The walk-in shower was very easy on my bad knees. The breakfast Nancy and Dick prepared and served was delicious and beautiful. The service and table settings made us feel we were in the lap... I stayed at the Penrose Victoria Inn while taking a four-day craft course at nearby "Snow Hill Farm." I cannot emphasize enough how extremely comfortable I felt at this B&B. The owners, Nancy and Dick, are genuinely warm, friendly, and interested in their guests. The breakfasts were excellent and varied. I was very impressed by the size of the rooms... More

My husband and I were looking for a quiet get away and some good company. Our stay at Penrose entirely satisfied our expectations. The delicious breakfasts out on the gazebo style porch surrounded by charming grounds were such a great start to the day. The lovely Victorian rooms in a house filled with art and décor the Zimmers have collected... More

The rooms are beautiful, the gardens delightful and the house has an intriguing history. Breakfast, inside or outside on the porch, is a delicious way to start your day. But the real reasons to stay at the Penrose Victorian Inn are Nancy and Dick. Within minutes you will feel as if you are staying with long-time family friends who are... More

Our party of four stayed here in early June so that my Dad could attend his high school reunion and visit with old friends over the weekend. Since we no longer have family in the area, we needed a place to stay and chose the Inn since it was closer than available hotels and also very close to my dad's... More

My boyfriend and i spent the July 4th weekend here, and it was absolutely gorgeous :) Nancy and Dick were wonderful, and the breakfasts they made were amazing! I'm so glad we got to sit out on the porch for meals, their garden is beautifully maintained and in bloom at that time of year. We stayed int he brides room,... More

I stayed in the Bride's Room with its adjoining bathroom, which were very exceedingly clean and very comfortable. I am envious of those who were able to dine on the porch, it was too cold the mornings In May I was there. The Inn is in a beautiful location. The lawn and flowers are beautiful. Nancy & Dick were very... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful night at this charming B and B. It's a very pretty place, filled with all sorts of treasures. Everything has a history to it and you'll find yourselves asking Nancy and Dick all sorts of questions from where the artwork is from, to how does the portable loom work to who wore the... More
