After searching high and low for a place for an overnight retreat with my husband, we landed at Alyce's Dunscroft. My criteria: a fireplace, walk to the beach, walk to town and restaurants, and a king size bed. We found all of those things at this B&B. We stayed in the cottage, which was charming more than romantic; still, the... more

I have nothing but great things to say about Dunscroft by the Sea. My wife and I arrived in Cape Cod for our 14th yearly visit. We arrived on a miserable day in October, one in which the freezing rain is hitting you sideways. Alyce greeted us at the door, and welcomed us in out of the noreaster, and provided... more

My wife and I visited Alyce's Inn as we were both invited to a wedding nearby, we found the appearance of the Inn very charming and welcoming, as well as Alyce herself. The breakfasts were fabulous and we both looked forward to them. We stayed for about 4 days, and enjoyed the other guests company at breakfast. If in the... more

I came for rest and relaxation and found that and more. I found a tastefully appointed room (LOVE the bed!), beautiful garden, a very short walk to a beach on which I was the only person for much of the day. Alyce provided me with information about activities, maps, menus, all with a welcoming and friendly demeanor. Nice restaurants just... more

My husband and I had such a wonderful time here, and we will definitely be returning! The house is absolutely charming, and the location to the beach and quaint shops excellent! The management is so warm, and has such a way of making your stay both elegant and cozy at the same time. Also, their breakfasts are to-die-for!!! The management... more

My fiance and I just came back from spending one night at Alyce's Dunscroft by the Sea. The room was bright and cheerful, very clean, with a very comfortable bed, with wonderful sheets. Alyce was very friendly, and the breakfast she made was outstanding. We would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, elegant, charming B&B. It's a... more

My wife and I spent our honeymoon during the first week of October at this amazing little gem on Cape Cod. We were fortunate enough to stay in the 'cottage'. It was clean, very comfortable, and ideally situated to meet our needs: Beach, shopping, great restaurants, site seeing, etc. We loved the fact that the beach was just steps away... more
