I have been traveling to Cape Cod since I was a child, over 50yrs and we were so pleased to discover the Clapp family, especially Nancy, and this quintessential Cape Cod home since our regular place had been sold and redone and the prices more than doubled. The place is cute and homey....some of the furnishings are older, as would... More

This guest house is a real find. I recently stayed for 2 nights and was very comfortable with room # 1 in the main house - at a very affordable price. The backyard is lovely and the owners very friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat, town and the beaches just a short walk down the street. I highly... More

We had a family wedding in Harwichport and rented five rooms at Clapp's Guest House. We loved our accommodations. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and Carl and Nancy are so welcoming. There is a full kitchen in the back house and an outdoor kitchen with picnic tables so is very convenient for a family. The grounds are very pretty... More

Two night stay at this very authentic Cape home hosted by Carl and Nancy. Very peaceful neighborhood a short walk to beach and main street establishments including a fabulous little breakfast place with outstanding pastries. The room was very comfortable and had everything necessary for our stay. The morning coffee was delicious and the area perfect for a nice morning... More

We have been happily vacationing at Clapp’s Guest House for more than 20 years. Hosts Nancy and Carl are warm, welcoming people, glad to share information about special things to do on Cape Cod. We relax in the yard, enjoying peace and quiet and beautiful flowers. It is an easy walk to beaches, shops, and a variety of good dining... More

Our several day stay started off with a warm greeting from Nancy and Carl (owners). Our room was great! Nice big shower stall, comfy sitting area, and very welcomed microwave and fridge :) The information books and binder of info Nancy and Carl had in the room were also a great help! The scenery was captivating, the experience alone was... More

We recently stayed at Clapp's Guest House in Harwich Port. Our rooms in the Main House were cozy and clean and the location was great. We walked to the beach, George's for pizza, Bonnatt's bakery for breakfast and walked around several shops in town. Thank you, Carl and Nancy. We'll be back.

We stayed there for 3 nights and really liked that place. Yes, rooms are old, kind of durty and definatelly this is not the 5star hotel style. But that's OK, you are close to the ocean and that feels like 100 years old cheap never been remodeled vacation hous, but priced acordingly. What is really ruin your time - the... More

This place is in a great location... But that's the only thing it has going for it! The rooms are dingy and dirty. The sheets were full of sand and makeup stains and none of the linens were complete sets. The linens were also super worn. The mattress was lumpy and I am sure at least 30 years old! The... More

I am sad that showing acts of kindness and generosity and caring is considered being eccentric and odd. This reviewer arrived well before check-in time but we welcomed her and made early registration possible. Learning it was her mother's birthday, I made a special shell ornament for her. It was never acknowledged nor were the fresh garden vegetables we give... More

You will get your money's worth and more when you stay here. Great value and good location. You'll feel like you are in your own private summer cottage with period furnishings that are attractively older. Great flat screen TV. A return guest house for sure. Pictures on site show the attractiveness of the rooms.
