We enjoyed our stay very much. We arrived late and the hosts waited for us to arrive. The breakfast was great, the last fresh blueberries of the season. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was charming, an old cast iron tub with a great shower. The hosts were very friendly. The grounds of this inn are beautiful.... more

In the midst of the beautiful fall foliage was the Windflower Inn. A charming and welcoming place appointed with lovely antiques, this inn is all the more inviting because of the friendly and accommodating hosts. Our young children enjoyed themselves as much as us, as the inn is central to great walks, hikes, farms, ski resort fun, and shopping in... more

Windflower Inn is a lovely B&B. I went with three friends and three of us shared a large room with a queen, a single and a pull out sofa and our 4th friend had a lovely single. The Hosts were wonderful-helpful and friendly and even helped with ground cover to help us with a rainy day for the outside Tanglewood... more

we stayed at the Windflower Inn with our 2-yr old son. Location is superb since we wanted to be close the the center of Gt. Barrington, yet we wanted to enjoy a more quite, relaxed place. The hosts sincerely meant it when they said it's a family-friendly place. Claudia made sure we stay in a room that fit our needs,... more

We have traveled to the Berkshire area for ten years staying at various resorts and inns. The Windflower has what we most desired. A quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Incredibly attentive and welcoming hosts. A comfortable and well appointed room with a fireplace! The complimentary breakfast was a full breakfast and was home made...pancakes were made with hand picked blueberries, fresh fruit,... more

A refreshing experience! Reasonably priced, lovely room, beautiful grounds, delicious breakfast, convenient location........Innkeepers are friendly & have great local shopping (especially for maple syrup!) & dining suggestions. Wi-Fi is a definite plus, especially since I wasn't able to get a signal from my cel phone carrier. Will definitely schedule a return visit to the Windflower Inn! more

My wife and I just spent a wonderful romantic evening at this little inn. Lucky we found this little gem after spur of the moment decision to sneak away....quiet and comfy, spacious room, absolutely spotless, charming, and a nice homemade breakfast to start the day. Long-time inkeepers clearly have a knack and the love for the business. Great location to... more

Innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were spacious with seating area and desk plus a very comfortable queen size bed. The Inn is a short drive from the center of Great Barrington. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fruit, cereal, sweet breads, plus a hot entree - or all of the above! Liked best: Spacious common rooms and... more

My wife and I and our two daughters (7 and 12) just got back from staying at the Windflower for four nights during ski season and we really loved it there. The beautiful old inn has a very relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. John and Claudia, the owners, were very pleasant and helpful without being imposing at all. Our room was large... more

We spent Valentine's day weekend at Windflower and as always, it was a pleasure. Claudia & John Ryan are great proprietors and charming hosts. Claudia makes the best breakfasts! We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. more
