We keep returning to the Inn at Sweet Water Farm because it is the ideal home away from home in the Berkshires. This is a rambling, historic house that is charming without falling into preciousness. You will find many comfortable, quiet places to sit and chat, books of all sorts to peruse, and comfortable, well-outfitted rooms. The breakfasts, as many... More

Handmade soap, local chocolate on the pillow, a bed so high I felt like The Princess and the Pea, and then a breakfast from heaven with Lynda's homemade rose petal jam, freshly baked bread and croissants, a strawberry rhubarb pie and sauteed baby squash and squash blossoms with scrambled eggs (from the chickens roosting in the yard). We heard that... More

We are so glad that we decided to try this B&B - in a very small community not far from Great Barrington. The owners/Innkeepers are wonderful - very small, but also extremely comfortable, with a couple of nice sitting rooms as well as the dining area to enjoy the marvelous breakfasts customized for you by Lynda - a gourmet cook... The Inn at Sweet Water Farm is charming, comfortable and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast rivals any 5 star eatery! Delicious, fresh, tasty ingredients, served graciously by the host and prepared beautifully by the hostess. Six wonderful, quiet rooms, and the bed linens are actually lined dried! The Innkeepers Lynda and Andre are friendly and helpful. A wonderful gem located in... More

WE had a wonderful weekend at Sweet Water farm in every way. They are two wonderful people. Food is great, and it was what a perfect B and B is. Thank you Lynda for a fantastic breakfast, and for your hospitality. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Oops I almost forgot, thanks for the turkey sausage!

The owners of this charming inn are friendly, professional, warm, and helpful. The inn is romantic and cozy. The food lovingly prepared is delicious and fresh. Andrei and Lynda, the owners, make every effort to make the stay as friendly and private as possible. A wonderful treat!

First and foremost, every room has a private bathroom. There are many rooms in the Inn but it is extremely private and quiet. All the rooms were booked, yet we only saw a few people in the dining area and common area. Secondly, the food was out of this world! I never had fresh eggs before and was a little... More

My fiancé and I just spent three wonderful days between Christmas and New Years at The Inn at Sweet Water Farm. From the moment we arrived till our hugs good-by, Lynda and Andrei did all that they could to make us feel welcome, comfortable and happy. Rushing to get to the performance I had been rehearsing for all week (at the Berkshire Choral Festival in Sheffield), I stepped out of the Inn, threw some things into the trunk of my rented car, slammed the trunk closed, and immediately realized that I had locked the car keys inside. "Oh #%!!!," I screamed and within seconds a very... More
