Marja and Robert are really doing a wonderful job, their Inn is beautiful, very clean, and they are both very kind and welcoming. Our room was very nice, as was the bathroom and common areas. What stands out the most for us is the food - Marja's breakfasts were out of this world and she did a fantastic job of... More

Two weeks later, I'm still glowing from my magical visit to the Wainwright Inn. I remember the stark beauty of white snow all around us, contrasted with the light and warmth of the rooms, and people, within. Marja and Robert took most exquisite care of us. Our bedroom was toasty and delightfully comfortable -- I slept better than I had... More

I am not the type of person who usually goes to B&B's, but I have to say that if I was going to stay anywhere it'd be here. We will surely come back. What I liked most was that the place had a very homey feel to it, but I didn't feel like I was staying in someone's house. Everything... More

We stayed at the Wainwright overnight while on business. The Innkeepers were accommodating, friendly and provided everything we needed from wifi to a beautiful breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with lovely antique detail and modern amenities. We will surely be back to this gem of an Inn located right on Main Street, a lvoely walk to shops and... More

On the strength of the baked goods at breakfast alone, I would come here again! We're vegan and Marja did a wonderful job feeding us good food. Not just "good for vegan food" or "good but with a dollop of resentment" as we often encounter. Genuinely good food, good conversation, and all that in a fine old house. She makes... More

Our Thanksgiving stay in the Berkshires was rescued by Marja and Robert who kindly accommodated our last minute needs by making available the room we needed for our family. The room was perfect and everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was creative and delicious, and the innkeepers were so very nice and full of great information regarding the area.... More

Sy and I had an wonderful time. The room is spacious and very nice furnished with a beautiful view of trees and garden. The owners of the Inn are friendly and help with nice reviews from local restaurants. The breakfast is a surprise in both presentation and taste.

We had a very nice experience staying at this charming B&B. Rooms were impeccable, the welcome was warm and the Innkeepers couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. At the end, we forgot some belongings which they very obligingly sent back to us in Europe. Highly recommended.

Your basic, garden variety B&B, it is within walking distance to the business district. The rooms are nice, though not great, and it all has a bit of a dated feel. The breakfasts are over-engineered in an effort to be 'cute'. Staff is helpful. Neither memorable nor bad, it will suit you if it is a B&B you seek.
