The owner is a kind and considerate host, with superb suggestions for walks (Benedict Pond) and bike rides (Alford Road). In addition it was perfect as a place to stay while attending the Outstanding in the Field event at Lila's Farm. She was especially nice about letting our daughter stay with us, and makes a mean peach cake! No pressure... More

From my first phone call to our actual visit, Susanna worked to make our stay perfect. I was looking for handicapped accessible accommodations in the Berkshires, and the Chamber of Commerce led me to The Acorn's Hope. Our ground-floor room--a suite actually, bedroom and bath--were spacious so that I could easily maneouver my mobility scooter. Bed and toilet were the... More

My husband and I stayed at Acorn's Hope for a week at the end of July and from our first contact with Susanna, she was helpful and accommodating. She booked us in one room for our first three nights and then moved us seamlessly to a room with a private entrance and sunporch for the remainder of our stay when... More

We were treated to that wonderful feature of a host -- or multiple features -- that are so rare in travel, and that's a truly caring host, as well as one who is also intelligent and fun. You can tell by the name -- Acorn's Hope. Who would name their B&B that? It seemed like an Emily Dickinson poem all... More

I was so pleased with this B&B! We had a very comfortable stay. Susanna strikes the perfect blend of being informative and welcoming, without being intrusive. Bravo. I thought her cooking was excellent, too. The location is GREAT - you can walk across the street for a walk, sit in the backyard overlooking a very pastoral setting, or be in... More

This is our favorite B&B in the Berkshires, and we’ve visited many times. Susanna, the innkeeper, is an extremely caring person, who is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Breakfast always includes a delicious hot entree, and granola, fresh fruit, and yogurt are always available. It's fun to watch the birds at the bird feeder during breakfast! The rooms are lovely... My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Acorn's Hope in June. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable and Susanna, the hostess, made us feel at home. For breakfast, we had a choice of cereal, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit and breads, as well as pancakes one morning and a frittata the next. Everything was delicious. Susanna gladly... More

I stayed at Suzanna`s B&B a year ago when I visited Great Barrington for a friend`s wedding. Being my first time in the USA this was the perfect place to show me the hospitality and charm of the American nation. Suzanna took care of me for 4 days and made me feel welcome and at home ( she even understood... More
