Yes..it's a glorified motel. The main room where a sub par breakfast of canned fruit salad, or totally unripened rock hard or green bananas and baseball nectarines, mini noses of cereal, sugar laden yoghurt cups, and all heavy low quality breads was has beautiful antiques. The very inexperienced "summer kids" will plow into you at the buffet as they hurry... More

The hubs and I stayed here with our two 13-year-olds. The room was roomy and very well-kept- and each one includes a gorgeous ocean view. Staff is friendly and helpful- and breakfast is included! We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Im used to 4 and 5 star accomdations, and although the outside looks okay, the inside lives up to my expectations. It appeared to be all NEW interior, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom is small but I wasnt there to spend time in the bathroom. There is a nice walking path along the ocean that runs a couple miles... More

My husband and I stayed at the inn last week and enjoyed every part of our stay. The service was impeccable, the room was clean and the view was to die for. My husband rode one of the inn's bikes around town while I enjoyed spending time lounging at the pool. We love Good Harbor and had great meals at... More

My wife and I stayed here just this past weekend (July 11-July 14) and couldn't be happier with our experience. We're both very picky when it comes to hotels and the hotel's location. The Bass Rocks Ocean Inn is located across the road from some of the most beautiful Ocean you can see on the East Coast. It's quite literally... More

My husband and I stayed this past weekend. What a great place to stay! The rooms are renovated with flat screen tvs. The bed was very comfy. Basically all the rooms have an ocean view except for the ones in the main house. I recommend staying on the first vs the 2nd floor. Same views and you don't need to... More

Very clean. Nice pool, great location. Very friendly staff. The room was nice and had a great view of the ocean. They cover all the details really nicely, all the way down to cream in the fridge for the coffee.

The location of the property is great, facing the ocean from every room in the main hotel. We opted fo a 1st floor room, allowing a better view (slightly higher cost). The room was spacious and clean. The porche sitting area a welcome treat. The bathroom is a bit small, but with some organisation of toiletry, manageable. The hotel booked... More

This place rocks! (no pun intended). Stayed in suite for anniversary. Clean and fabulous room with very comfy bed and awesome air conditioning (you control your own). Lots of extra perks in room, such as dishes, microwave and coffeemaker. Jacuzzi in our suite worked great. Friendly staff, bountiful breakfast with home made muffins, bread, scones. Perfect location overlooking beach. Just... More

We're in the "old" building which has a handful of suites all looking out at the ocean. Pricey but worth it. Very helpful staff. Book whale watch and/or lobster bake thru hotel since it's cheaper than booking it yourself. Suite is spacious and well furnished. And b'fast is included and good, too.
