I showed up on a cold rainy day at the beginning of October. They put me in the west wing and then couldn't give me a straight answer for several hours as to why the room wouldn't heat up. Finally ended up with a small electric heater (part of the room) being fired up when I got back from dinner,... More

We had to find accomodations as close as possible to Salem since all rooms in Salem were booked. The Castle Manor Inn was available & we decided to book 2 rooms - 1 for ourselves & another for a 2nd couple. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived before checkin time & they were able to accomodate us. We were... More

There are several small dining areas, a pocket bar, a main bar in the atrium area and an amazing view from the large back deck overlooking the grounds and the Gloucester waterfront.. The rooms are large, clean, decorated somewhat Victorian/modern and delightful with a long upstairs foyer and easy access to the first floow. The proprietor is eager to fill... More

Castle Manor sets along the Western side of Gloucester just minutes from downtown. Beautiful views, excellent accommodations and an incredible enclosed deck for an awesome dining experience. The Seaglass Restaurant has an incredible chef and the wait staff will adhere to your every need!

We had to find accommodation in this area quickly when we arrived earlier in the day at another hotel in the next town of Rockport to find our room there dirty and unacceptable. We were welcomed by Laura and Bob as if we were family! Just what we needed after an unpleasant experience earlier in the day (see my report... More

It's a beautiful property with beautiful rooms and they have delicious breakfast. They accommodate late check in guests, but their bar and restaurant Close around 1030. The beds are really firm, i thought t would be ok but u woke really sore. I probably would have slept better if i hadn't of creeped myself out though. It seemed like out... More

I have never written a review before, but this establishment is so impressive I had to share! The staff was so kind, they truly made us feel like we were old friends returning for a visit! The room was immaculate and comfortable and included small details to make the guests feel right at home. The beautiful, quaint restaurant not only had... More

We chose this Inn with little research and boy was it a gem. It dates back to 1898, has ten bedrooms, an excellent restaurant and the nicest staff we have met beginning with the person answering the phone. We were able to reserve the last two rooms in the house and we got the best room. It was a third... More

There are rooms inside the hold house and then there are a dozen motel units. We were in a vintage motel unit which had two queen beds and a bathroom. The beds were comfortable, there was an AC unit in one window and a floor free standing fireplace looking heater in the bedroom. The TV was small and old fashioned.... More

Father of the Bride Review 1) Arrival: Arrived at the Inn on a Thursday. Our room was in the main building. The building was clean and in good shape. The main building has central a staircase that is difficult for handicapped/disabled/old folks but two grandmothers over 90 stayed in the “motel” section which is on a street level and seemed...
