We had a great time at Cape Ann Camp ground. Very reasonably priced, nice sites, and staff was very friendly. Close to the village too. We'll be back!! Not far from fishing, shopping or site seeing. Camp ground has all the accommodations you will need.

Cape Ann Camp Site is the perfect (and the only) campground on Cape Ann. The owners are helpful and friendly and know the area from top to bottom. It's a 1.5 walk to Wingaersheek and a short drive to Good Harbor and Long Beach. This is a clean no-frills campground; no activities, no fluff, just a nice quiet and clean... More

Camp sites were woodsy and rustic and beautiful. The bathrooms were old and not real clean. The coin box for the shower was really rough to operate and didn't always work. Hosts were very friendly and offered local tips on places to eat. If you are a tent camper go for the location and keep your expectations for the amenities... More

My husband and 3 young kids camped over Memorial Day weekend here. The camp site we had was 172E for us was just perfect! Eileen (I'm not sure...but I think she's the owner along with her husband, Bob) was welcoming and helpful! Positives... The Campground itself is in a great place. The site we picked was just perfect. The bathrooms... More

Staff we're rely nice on arrival. As it is getting to the end of season it was quiet so we could drive around with a map and pick our own site which was nice. Some really nice unpowered sites,in the trees which make it quite private. Coin operated shower for 25c/5min. Was plenty and water was hot with good pressure.... More

We stayed for 5 days in an RV. We had a nice view of the salt water marsh and you could see the windmills in the background. Very relaxing. There was a beach at the end of the road which had a lovely view and was a nice place to walk around. The campground was much bigger then we thought... More

We stayed there 2 times over the last 2 months. Both times the bathrooms and showers were extremely clean which for me would be a deal breaker for going back! The people that checked us in were extremely helpful for ideas on things to do places to visit. We ended up going to the Cape Ann Museum and Halibut Point... More

This weekend my family of four went to Cape Ann Camp Site for the first time. We fell in love with the location, the camp site, and Gloucester in general. The camp site is set down a long winding road and up a hill. We were a bit confused at first when we got there but the staff in the... More

The road leading to this park is narrow, winding with low hanging branches and little to no shoulder, so if you’re a big 40 foot rig like us take it slow. The good thing is is that the road is only a mile and a quarter long and the locals are accustomed to sharing the road with you. When you... More

After the cold & rainy depressing June we had, we cancelled PEI for lack of heat & sun and promptly re-opted for our good old-timer, the Cape Ann Campsite! It is indeed hard to measure up to this incredible piece of generally wonderfully calm & quiet (although July 3rd's fireworks festivities do make it rowdier!) mature forest land. Its lots... More
