Staff we're rely nice on arrival. As it is getting to the end of season it was quiet so we could drive around with a map and pick our own site which was nice. Some really nice unpowered sites,in the trees which make it quite private. Coin operated shower for 25c/5min. Was plenty and water was hot with good pressure.... More

We stayed for 5 days in an RV. We had a nice view of the salt water marsh and you could see the windmills in the background. Very relaxing. There was a beach at the end of the road which had a lovely view and was a nice place to walk around. The campground was much bigger then we thought... More

We stayed there 2 times over the last 2 months. Both times the bathrooms and showers were extremely clean which for me would be a deal breaker for going back! The people that checked us in were extremely helpful for ideas on things to do places to visit. We ended up going to the Cape Ann Museum and Halibut Point... More

This weekend my family of four went to Cape Ann Camp Site for the first time. We fell in love with the location, the camp site, and Gloucester in general. The camp site is set down a long winding road and up a hill. We were a bit confused at first when we got there but the staff in the... More

The road leading to this park is narrow, winding with low hanging branches and little to no shoulder, so if you’re a big 40 foot rig like us take it slow. The good thing is is that the road is only a mile and a quarter long and the locals are accustomed to sharing the road with you. When you... More

After the cold & rainy depressing June we had, we cancelled PEI for lack of heat & sun and promptly re-opted for our good old-timer, the Cape Ann Campsite! It is indeed hard to measure up to this incredible piece of generally wonderfully calm & quiet (although July 3rd's fireworks festivities do make it rowdier!) mature forest land. Its lots... More

I stayed here with my 2 dogs this past weekend. It was fantastic! Our site had a view of the water. The store was great in that it had all the stuff I'd forgotten (saved me a trip to town with dogs). The woman working there was really helpful, directing me to a perfect, secluded site. I highly recommend this... More

This campground is a "rough" campground but is located in such proximity to the awesome tourism that can be had at Cape Ann, Rockport and Gloucester that it's definitely a camping spot to consider. That said, our experience was that they were extremely accommodating to the trio of motorhomes that we planned to go there with and when the first... More

Driving around New England and looking for campsites. Having spent a day in Salem I found this place through google. Turned up and asked for a pitch for me and a one man tent. Found a lovely little spot in the trees with a table and fire place. Water within 10yds and toilets/showers within 100yds. What's best though is the... More

I've been to this campsite many times and really enjoy it. The owners are really nice and very helpful about things to do and see around Cape Ann. The showers and toilets are always very clean though a bit dated. The sites are small but if you're only looking for a place to cook and sleep, it's fine. The location... More
