We frequently plan a Christmas getaway here. The beach is just as beautiful in the winter as the summer. Our dog loves staying here too. On the end of a mile long beach, sunrise is glorious and snowstorms amazing. Try it!

This is an amazing spot right on the water, and perfect for the off season when it is only $85 a night! The Taj Mahal it is not, but all rooms are right on the water, and it is family owned. Nice quiet location at the end of a dead end. Sit on your porch and watch the surf!

we figured it was fine, right on the beach. In winter they let homeless people stay in empty rooms, and the people next to us fought all night, threatening to kill each other, slamming doors, swearing in disgusting language! No sleep, scared to death! We went outside at 2:30 in the morning because we couldn't stand it any more, I... More

I went with a friend who's stayed many times over the years. It was my first visit. Gloucester can be a crazy tourist place in the summer, but this Inn is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and very peaceful. There is a large cove that provides a tranquil environment and a big beach perfect for children. A sandwich shop... More

Almost like going to Camp this hotel is anything but 4 Star. But what it lacks in amenities it makes up in location and some charm. Most of all these kitchenettes are literally on the beach and great prices. So bring your own Foo-foo stuff a beach towel good book and enjoy the stunning view. Enjoy!

We stayed at Cape Ann anticipating a wonderful end to an excellent trip around New England. Sadly the only good thing about this inn is the beautiful view from the rooms. The rooms are dated and grimy - to the point of needing to wash the crockery before we could even make a hot drink. The walkway/verandah was in need... More

Right on the beach, clean and pets were welcomed. This review would have had a higher rating if the women answering the phone and at the front desk (Michelle ?) Had a better attitude. She was rude, abrupt and never said a word as we got coffee. The rest of the staff was very friendly. We will go back again... More

Again this year and loved it. Always a pleasure. The staff remembers you from year to year. Perfect beach location. View of beach from every room. Listening to the waves at night put you right to sleep.
