Best hotel in the area. We were there to visit family, mostly this place is focused on weddings. So it was a little odd to dart through wedding parties, but overall a fine spot. Needs a bit of updating, but not bad.

This is the second review of the Colonial Hotel after our stay in May. The first review I explained that if you want a party place, this hotel would be great. The first night...Friday...people were going up and down the halls, talking, slamming doors, and partying! We called the front desk and asked for a different room, but none were available.Got to sleep around... More

We were visiting Franklin Pierce in Rindge, NH, and were not thrilled with the hotel options in that area. We stayed at the Colonial Hotel, about 30 minutes south, and were very pleased. The room was pleasant and comfortable, the common areas were elegant, and the grounds were attractive and well maintained. The pool is tiny. We loved the onsite... More

I got married here this August and was overall pleased with my experience. Mary was incredible to work with and the owner was also helpful. We had the honeymoon suite for the wedding weekend and it was large, and nice and the AC gets very cold which any one getting married can appreciate when they are in a 75 pound... More

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and reception, while the rooms were clean looking and the bedding was clean looking, what caused us some concern was while the cleaning ladies were in the hallways with their carts, on top of each cart, and we counted six that we saw, each of them had a can of Roach Killer... We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and reception. They managed the wedding and reception wonderfully - considering there were 2 weddings on the same day. It is tucked away off the "beaten path" for sure - but would be a nice venue for foliage seekers in this beautiful area of western Mass. The rooms were spacious enough, a... More

We stayed at this hotel because it was near to a wedding we were attending in Gardner. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere! Because they are always booked with weddings on site, the prices of their rooms are inflated. We stayed one night for $175. Seriously? While the room was clean and beds comfortable, at that price I... More

I am very sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your stay. I understand that you were upset that the restaurant was not open until 7am. I will speak with the restaurant manager and see if we can have them open a little earlier for coffee service on the weekends. During the week we do open at 6am.... More

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel. We attended a wedding reception that was held for 150 people under a large tent. Very nice facilities. The hotel has a pool and exercise room and the banquet/meeting facilities are very large. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. The hotel rooms are being renovated and if your... More

I am thrilled to hear that you were pleased with your stay. I understand that the rooms were a little outdated prior to renovations, but the renovations have been completed for over a month now, so hopefully you will increased your overall rating for us. I appreciate your review! More
