Stayed for 1 night in Aug 2014 - A nice charming hotel sat on a very nice beach. In close proximity to the Shining Sea Bikeway which is railway converted path for bikers and joggers, approx 10 mile fantastic ride to Falmouth. Bikes can be rented from the hotel. Hotel itself didn't think was particularly good value - restaurant was... More

We were looking for a place to go within driving distance (from suburbs of Boston), that offered a beach, a pool and comfortable hotel. This is it. Rooms are as expected for a nice hotel (flat screen TV, updated linens, mini-fridge, etc.). I absolutely recommend the oceanside rooms for many reasons - close proximity to the beach and pool, balcony... More

To be honest when we arrived I really wondered what we had let ourselves in for as the place looked huge and a bit like a Butlins camp! As I personally wouldn't chose to stay at Butlins I was apprehensive! There are pros and cons. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Reception area is nicely decorated. The corridors to the... More

Thank you for sharing your comments regarding your recent stay with us. We try to appeal to all travelers; couples and families. During the summer with kids on vacation from school and the ocean at our toes we do tend to attract families. However, the daily activities we offer are geared to all ages. In an effort to alleviate the... More

Whilst we had a good time I have a few reservations. My sons lost a watch and a wallet from their room which would have been avoided if the rooms had a safe! I'm not pointing fingers but they haven't turned up since we got home. It's not cheap for what you get. $18 for breakfast is steep, we ended... More

I was glad to hear that you enjoyed the beach as well as the service and hospitality our staff provided you with during your recent visit to Cape Cod. On the other hand, I was disappointed to learn about your son’s watch and wallet that went missing from his guest room. We do provide our guests with safe deposit boxes... More

Gorgeous setting on a silver-sand beach with warm, clean, calm Atlantic water, westward-facing with spectacular ocean sunsets. Crowded beach, pool, restaurants; creaky beds, limited services. Very family-friendly; lots of kids.

I just participated in a two day business conference at this hotel. If you've been considering using this location for your event I highly recommend it. 1. The Food Incredible. I can't stop talking about it. Breakfast (crispy bacon, top overs in between - who doesn't love a top over?!), lunch - lamb chops, dinner - cocktails and lobster/clams/muscles in... More

We stayed for a few days whilst visiting Falmouth and taking a trip to Martha's Vineyard. The hotel was fine and fairly nice however it was looking quite shabby and could do with a spruce up. It was in a fairly nice location on a gorgeous beach, however it is quite a drive from the town centre. The pool bar... More

We just arrived home from a 4 day stay at the Seacrest. We went with a group of runners who ran the Falmouth Road Race. Good location for runners. This hotel has been renovated in the past few years and they have definitely made great improvements. It is on the expensive side though and will keep people from being able... More

While I love the location, our room and the amenities, they need to clean up the cigarette butts on the beach. It was disgusting to see. It was such a turn off. I would think for an average of $400 a night that the beach would be cleaned at the end of the day. Plus, people shouldn't be allowed to... More

OMG! Can't believe how horrible the mattress in our room was! I don't think I've ever heard a mattress make those cranking metal noises. Couldn't move or sleep. Needs to be looked into! The beach is beautiful and the staff very helpful. We have been coming to Old Silver Beach for years because we love the warm waters of Nantucket... More
