Spent a wonderful long weekend at the Tides. Although it appears vintage from the outside, the room was immaculate and very comfortable. Coffee maker, toaster and microwave allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the balcony overlooking Nantucket Sound. Restaurants, shops and ferry were within walking distance. My wife and I will certainly return to the Tides and would recommend it... More

I booked the tides based on research on the internet, beach location and close to Martha's Vineyard ferries. It really is a no frills motel with no phone, shampoo, AC and the decorating was right out of a 1970's Sears catalogue. Including two matching paintings in the same room. The thing is with the Tides that's part of the charm.... More

My wife and I stayed at the Tides Hotel from 9/2 until 9/8. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the Tides. But there are a couple things to be aware of before you choose to stay here. The Tides is an older motel but is very well maintained. We stayed on the second floor in unit #22.... More

Being from the mid-west where July can be unbearable - we so love spending a week with our friends at The Tides of Falmouth. Mild weather and ocean breezes - doesn't get any better. This year we added two other couples to our group - I think they are hooked!

Every year my husband and I spend a weekend at one of our favorite places - The Tides Motel. The location is just perfect- you are literally on the beach. The rooms are spotless, the view is breathtaking and the staff makes you feel like you are family. I can't wait to go back again next year.

Just back from a stay here. I was lucky enough to run this past Falmouth Road race and decided to make a weekend getaway out of it. The location of this hotel is amazing (right near the finish for runners) it is right between the harbour and the beach so no matter what side of the Motel your room is... More

Just came back from a wonderful stay. The reviews tell it all. We were on the second floor and the view is just as nice. The first floor gives a person the privilege to step right out on the beach. There is no air-conditioning nor telephones in the rooms. No need for A/C since the cross ventilation between the front... More

Clean comfortable rooms, the one I rented had a micro-wave, refrigerator and coffee pot. View was fabulous. Easy walk to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. They just had sand trucked in for their private beach which was wonderful. Amazing views as it is right next to the entrance into the harbor so we sat and watched boats going in... More

The rooms are clean and they recently upgraded the refrigerators which was great. We were comfortable but be aware there is no air conditioning so it could be hot during the heat of summer (I believe they provide a fan if requested). Bring your own shampoo ( none provided). Wi - fi is available but you need to be near... More

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback. We offer free WiFi and it does work in most rooms. Some of our rooms have brick walls which may slow down transmission. Not much we can do about that. We are limited to DSL service in this area which can be slower than broadband or Fios. All of our second... More

My family and I spent an early June weekend visiting Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard and stayed at the Tides Motel. We were all thoroughly charmed by the place and are definitely considering a return visit. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the water. It's at the head of the Falmouth Harbor and is right next... More
