ShoreWay Acres has been a consistently excellent hotel in the three years my family has been staying there. Both outside-facing motel and inside-facing hotel style rooms are clean and comfortable. They are well kept and clean (although the decor is kind of dated) and the sheets and towels are changed every day of course. Two teenage siblings should have no... more

We stayed in ShoreWay Acres for an April weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in. We stayed in the main building (with the indoor pool). The rooms were worn and tired out, with some freaky decor reminiscent of a badly decorated Irish B&B, with curtains, chintz, old carpeting, and bedspread that was dirty. The mattress was a... more

What a great location, just minutes walk from Falmouth main st and 10 mins walk from the beach and harbour. We visited most towns on Cape Cod and Falmouth was the nicest with friendly restaurants, gift shops, clothes shops & salons. The hotel room was spacious with good facilities. Some days house-keeping could have been a little more thorough with... more

We spent 3 nights here in Sept. The Inn is really well placed - being a short walk from Main Street, and also only a short walk to the lovely sandy beach. The accommodation was also lovely - traditional wooden properties with porches and outside seating. There is lots of open space at the Acres, including timber gazebo's and double... more

Nice quiet location in leafy street 3 minute walk north to Main Street with its various stylish restaurants and 7 minutes walk south to the beech and coast road. Reception staff pleasent but not overly helpful or friendly. Grounds are immaculate and quite spacious with indoor and outdoor pools. Decent sized bedroom complete with fridge and micro wave was located... more

We spent three nights here over Labor Day weekend. For some reason there were rooms available last-minute. The inn is located close enough to town for small children to walk; a short bike ride to the beach. The grounds are very pretty, the buildings are well-built and well-maintained. A bit old-fashioned, which we like, with clean rooms, an indoor pool... more

Other trip advisor reviews have got this spot on -'it looks great in the pictures, but its actually quite disappointing.' I wish we had taken more notice of trip advisor reviews! We agree the location is great, Falmouth is lovely, and the grounds are very well kept too. Unfortunately the rooms are small, tired and not unlike beach chalets really.... more

Shoreway Acres was a very nice surprise! As we were driving through downtown Falmouth we came across a neon sign for the hotel. Had I not already had reservations, this sign would have scared me away because it looked like a sign for and SRO hotel. As we drove up to the hotel we were pleasantly surprised to see "compound".... more

My wife and I booked reservations with Shoreway Acres Inn via telephone and internet for our wedding. We are both Active Duty Soldiers deployed to Iraq so planning a wedding from over 6,000 miles away with less than three weeks lead-time proved a daunting task to say the least. The staff (particularly Dorie Ketterer) was nothing short of extraordinary. She... more

We were very happy with Shoreway Acres. The hot breakfast was served with class and was somewhat varied each day. Housekeeping was great. They came in every day and I was surprised that they even cleaned the dishes in the sink. It was nice to get back to the room after a long day and it was clean. Thank you,... more
