Let me preface what I am about to say with the fact that the Elm Arch Inn was selected because it was one of the few local places that still had space during the busy July 4th week. My wife and I were placed in an unfortunate position to look for a inn after the small house we were renting... more

I had stayed at this hotel 5 times previously and had always liked it. The staff seemed freindly and warm and the hotel has some nice character. After my last experience I will NEVER stay here again. On our last stay I had to cancel the reservation due to a family conflict. I called 5 days ahead of the cancelation... more

We have been in the business for 79 years, and have never taken credit cards, and still don't. In recent years more Inns are coming, and some going. There is more competition now than in the past. So any edge that a competitor can get, may help their bottom line, even if it means lying, or making up stories. In...

We love the charm of the Elm Arch Inn. It is a special old place that takes you back to a simpler, more carefree time. Very relaxing. more

We have been going to the Elm Arch Inn, off and on for years. We have stayed in the little cottage next to main Inn, the Richardson House across from the Inn, and in the Inn itself ... we love it, and Flossie. It's quiet location off the main street makes it convenient to Falmouth restaurants, shops, churches, and festivals.... more

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Elm Arch Inn. The room was spotlessly clean, the grounds were pretty, and the innkeeper was nice and helpful. We liked its location just off Main Street. The main inn is really charming and full of antiques. We stayed in the Richardson House Annex across the street. We have small children so we... more

Last week we booked a room at the Elm Arch Inn. We requested a special room with a canopy bed and private bath in an historic setting. We called a few days later to verify that the room also had AC. We were told that was possible for a bit more. When we arrived , we were told that we... more

I stayed at the Inn in 2000 with my two best girl friends. We had had a traumatic few nights in another location on Martha's Vineyard and when I called up to see if the Inn had any vacancies they had just one room left with three beds. "Meant for us" we thought and had the best time. So comfortable,... more

I am a local and am often asked to make local hotel reservations or recommendations for visitors, family and friends. Because others might find the opinions of a local helpful, I thought I would enter them on this web site. The Elm Arch Inn is a beautiful property. Trees, grass, lovely buildings. It is a short stroll to Main Street... more

Hello; I just wanted to send a short note and extend my thanks for my recent stay at the Elm Arch Inn. As a frequent visitor I have always enjoyed the hospitality and New England charm that the Inn offers. Because it is a family run business they always seem to remember the little things and always make me feel... more

Three generations of our family have stayed at the Elm Arch almost annually for over 50 years. Each room is distinctive. The owners are wonderful people. The inn is on a quiet cul-de-sac right off main street so you can walk to shop and to the beach. There's a pool and lots of "greenspace" to relax and quietly read a... more
