I had the good fortune of staying in April at a B&B called the Captain Tom Lawrence House in Falmouth, Mass. It was truly a great spot with a wonderful breakfast and the rooms were clean and beautiful. The folks who run the place were great in helping find spots for dinner or to come with suggestions about what to... more

While on vacation in Falmouth, MA we stayed at the Capt. Tom Lawrence Inn. Our experience was very mixed. The innkeepers were very nice and polite but the male innkeeper seemed to be somewhat two-faced and seemed to rush us whenever we encountered him at breakfast, however the female innkeeper was very sweet whenever we encountered her during our stay.... more

While this review was overall complimentary, a few of the comments were a bit of surprise. This was a young pleasant couple who had not been to a B&B before and who seemed to be enjoying their stay. We both had pleasant conversations with them and certainly didn't mean to rush them, as they seemed to perceive. We would suggest...

Jim and Anne were very kind and helpful hosts. Assisted us in locating nice trails to walk along and excellent restaurants. Delicious breakfasts. Alto room was quiet, despite the house being on a main street and next door to a convenience mart. Walkable to town and trails. Tasteful decor without being too fufu (spelling?). Great value. We'd definitely stay there... more

Lovely place to stay when visiting Falmouth. We stayed in the Captains room which is plenty large enough, located on the first floor in the back of the house and has a very comfortable king size bed with great sheets. November is a very quiet time down the cape and there was no noise to speak of. Anne and Jim... more

Needed a B & B that would provide two beds as I was traveling with a relative - we really lucked out with the Captain Lawrence House. It was very cozy and the owners were more than friendly and helpful. We had to meet with others and used the Inn's living room and even their dishes to serve a snack... more

Captain Tom Lawrence House has everything you expect for a Cape Cod historic inn. It is located just a few minutes walk from the delightful village of Falmouth where there is an abundance of good restaurants and stores. The charming house is full of character, and our host Jim was delighted to tell us about its history , including the... more

We recently spent a weekend at Capt. Tom Lawrence House in Falmouth. The inn was pretty, but the hosts are idefinitely n the wrong business. We pulled up to the front of the inn to leave our car while checking in and were greeted before even entering the inn by the husband of the husband/wife innkeeper duo. Without welcoming us,... more

Had a wonderful stay at a very nice B&B. Not only is it nicely maintained, conveniently located and very comfortable, but it has (for me, anyway) the significant convenience of central air and wireless Internet access. The bed was extra comfortable and it was very, very quiet, enabling a very restful night's sleep after the day's activities. One very nice... more

We had a great stay at the Captain Tom Lawrence, located on the edge of Falmouth. This classically decorated B&B is on the smaller side, but it had several handy conveniences including central air conditioning, cable TV, and mini-fridges in all of the rooms. It was warm and humid during the weekend of our stay, but the cool interior ensured... more
