The hotel is beautiful and with plenty of character. The staff were very nice and friendly. We had a twin room which was very clean and comfortable. We walked into the room and straight away we felt de-stressed and chilled out. We were only there for one night and wish we stayed for longer. The beds were comfortable and the... More

Charming grand old hotel, located within minutes of the center of town, features a striking location directly across from the Edgartown Lighthouse. We arrived ahead of schedule, and were greeted by a less than enthusiastic and rather cold front desk staff. They informed us that our room would not be ready until 4:00PM, which was to be expected. We walked... More

Stayed for three nights in May and stayed in the Edmund Bradley cottage. Upon our arrival the lobby area is gorgeous and very inviting. The hotel and cottages, with the landscaping and vintage cedar shakes really make this hotel look great. The walk to downtown Edgartown is about 5 min which was great for our family. Overall the stay was... More

The hotel lobby is beautiful! Unfortunately the modern, clean feel stops midway up the first flight of stairs and doesn't return. The room we booked (main building, king bed) was nearly 80 degrees with the a/c on, so after talk of inserting a temporary wall unit the front desk moved us to a room with a smaller bed. They said... What a great hotel, from a beautiful dining room, well appointed old fashion rooms that are cozy. Great outside pool, and a beautiful view of the ocean. The only downside was cramped parking at the hotel property.

Stayed here one night. Room was wonderful and quiet. Short walk to the lighthouse and restaurants/stores. Pool wasn't available but is outdoors and it was still a little too cold to swim. Staff were friendly and great. I would stay here again

We were lucky to experience having a suite in one of the captains cabins. The room was huge and the bed was comfy. The staff were all very friendly, especially the concierge, Darlene. She gave us some great tips on activities and dining options on the Island. Also, the restaurant Henrys, located in the hotel was excellent. The fish and... More

Beautifully understated luxury with professional and attentive service made our vacation special. Location and views are totally unmatched. Food at its two restaurants makes you go back for more and more, which we did, day after day. We were lucky to get a terrific price with TripAdvisor, which made it possible for us to stay for six nights. We were... More
