beautiful historic hotel situated a 5 min walk to centre of town - spacious room, we just had the standard king room which was very pleasant. This is a large hotel with lots of choices, lovely bar and restaurant area. large lobby, sitting area with front verandah directly overlooking the forshore water/lighthouse area. this town is delightful with so many... Lovely spot, beautiful hotel, friendly staff and delicious food. Perfect visit! Complimentary coffee in the morning. We enjoyed being so close to town - but still far enough to feel private. Beautiful lighthouse view a real delight.

The good point of this hotel is the great view of the Harbor and Lighthouse. The hotel has very nice porches and public rooms to enjoy the view. However, it is on the far side of town and quite a walk to town. If you drive, it was hard to find a place to park, even the week before memorial... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. It is conveniently located...short walk to the Lighthouse and to shopping. The hotel restaurant is quite good for breakfast and dinner. Two other good restaurants on the island are State Road and Alchemy. Martha's Vineyard is a delightful place to discover.

The hotel is beautiful and with plenty of character. The staff were very nice and friendly. We had a twin room which was very clean and comfortable. We walked into the room and straight away we felt de-stressed and chilled out. We were only there for one night and wish we stayed for longer. The beds were comfortable and the... More

Charming grand old hotel, located within minutes of the center of town, features a striking location directly across from the Edgartown Lighthouse. We arrived ahead of schedule, and were greeted by a less than enthusiastic and rather cold front desk staff. They informed us that our room would not be ready until 4:00PM, which was to be expected. We walked... More

Stayed for three nights in May and stayed in the Edmund Bradley cottage. Upon our arrival the lobby area is gorgeous and very inviting. The hotel and cottages, with the landscaping and vintage cedar shakes really make this hotel look great. The walk to downtown Edgartown is about 5 min which was great for our family. Overall the stay was... More

The hotel lobby is beautiful! Unfortunately the modern, clean feel stops midway up the first flight of stairs and doesn't return. The room we booked (main building, king bed) was nearly 80 degrees with the a/c on, so after talk of inserting a temporary wall unit the front desk moved us to a room with a smaller bed. They said... What a great hotel, from a beautiful dining room, well appointed old fashion rooms that are cozy. Great outside pool, and a beautiful view of the ocean. The only downside was cramped parking at the hotel property.

Stayed here one night. Room was wonderful and quiet. Short walk to the lighthouse and restaurants/stores. Pool wasn't available but is outdoors and it was still a little too cold to swim. Staff were friendly and great. I would stay here again
