This was my wife's and my first visit to Martha's Vineyard. Our room (bedroom plus living room with kitchen), which overlooked Simpson's Lane from the second floor, was clean, quiet, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The exterior and street setting is every bit as lovely as the photos indicate. The Inn is a short walk to all "downtown" Edgartown restaurants, stores... More

The lightkeeper inn is our favorite place to stay. We stayed here for the last 3 years and we also book a week with this place every year. It's located in the heart of Edgar town, walking distant to all the shops and restaurants. But my 10 year old favorite is walking 2 minutes to the dock and go fishing... More

The light keepers inn has been our destination in edgartown for about 8 years now. The cottage can accommodate five of us, including our three kids, now aged 14, 12 and 6. We have stayed in a couple of the other rooms before we had our youngest. We have had extended family reunions there and rented the entire place. The... More

The Lightkeepers Inn is a quaint Inn right in Edgartown, right by all the shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We received a nice box of chocolates for being returning guest, which was delicious and very thoughtful of the Inn keepers. It's nice to have a kitchen at your disposal for those nights you just feel like staying... More

This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and I booked here because of the glowing reviews here on Tripadvisor...and we were not disappointed! We stayed in suite number five (East Chop) and it is exactly as the website depicted it. I loved having the kitchen as it meant we didn't have to eat out for every single meal and... More

The Lightkeepers Inn was a wonderful place to stay. It is the cleanest place I've ever stayed; the staff is so friendly--going above and beyond in their efforts to make our stay great! Terrific location--walking distance to downtown. It had parking available which, after looking around Edgartown, is a huge plus. We stayed in the Lightkeeper's Cottage -- again, so... More

We have been going to The Lightkeepers Inn since it opened, which was after the Daggett House closed. The Innkeeper and staff are very accommodating and genuinely interested in making you as welcome and comfortable as possible. The location would be hard to improve upon! For us, the island is a magical place and the inn greatly contributes to this... More

Spent 3 wonderful nights at Lightkeepers Inn -- great walking location, close to water, town, and residential areas. The suites are compact, but quite comfortable and well supplemented by attractive outdoor living spaces. Housekeeping staff is exemplary -- after recent stays in self-catering vacation rentals, we had forgotten how nice it is to have rooms tidied and restocked with coffee,... More

My husband and I visited the Inn the weekend after labor day with several other couples. The accomodations were perfect for us, great location, close to town and everything in Edgartown . It really was the perfect getaway and our upstairs deck was the "happy hour focal point" on our visit. Can't say enough good words !! We loved being... More

We stayed in mid September for a few nights to celebrate our anniversary and found the Lightkeepers Inn to be charming, spotless and very quiet all while also being very convenient- , within 2 blocks of Main street restaurants, shops and an easy walk to the MV Bus station for access to the whole island. This is an excellent value... More
