This was our first trip to Winnetu and we loved it! Great rooms, beach, biking and the resort is really well set-up for kids of all ages (ours are 8 and 10). Our favorites were the life size chess board, drinks/dinner on the balcony and the kayak trip. Hope to return yearly.

I want to be fair to the Winnetu in that they are pretty clear on their website that they are a family-oriented resort, which means families with children, and we were a family of adults with older parents - not quite the profile the resort excels at serving. You can read the various other raves here about the kids programs... More

This was our second visit to the Winnetu. We love this resort! So much to do with kids. You can head to South beach ( a short walk), catch frogs and turtles in the pond, ride your bike to Katama Airfield for a delicious breakfast and watch a biplane take off and land! Only 3 miles from Edgartown for nice... More

Great family resort. Plenty to do for the kids. Extremely relaxing. Walking distance to the beach. Restaurant on premises. If you did not want to, there would be no reason you would have to leave the resort. Bed was very comfortable.

The staff at The Winnetu are remarkable. It's a great property and very well kept up, despite the challenges of being near the ocean on Martha's Vineyard. Walk to the beach (South Beach)...great restaurant for dinner (Lure) and tremendous amounts of activities to choose. A big shout out to Lizzie Pack (Front Office Manager) and Tim Benoit (Concierge) who are... More

We LOVED our stay at this resort. We are couple who came without the kids to get away for a break for 6 days. We stayed in one of the garden studios--"Little Tashmoo". Even with lots of families and kids around--"Little Tashmoo" was really private and quiet! It was roomy, clean as a whistle and beautiful. The kitchenette with fridge,... More

We are not the "resort" going type, and I have only been to a handful of resorts my entire life. We were also traveling with our very uncooperative 13mo daughter. She was in a new place and everything from food to transportation to sleep turned out to be a big deal for us. 1- Food: This was our biggest problem.... More

I have to admit I saw all of the great reviews on trip advisor and wondered if the hotel would actually live up to the expectations set on the site…and it did! I didn't think the hotel's actual website represented the hotel as well as it actually is, so if you go to the site and have concerns based on... More

We had an amazing time at this resort. The customer service is truly top notch. When the hubby made our reservations, the customer service rep coordinated our pick-up and drop-off at the ferry and our trip to their sister hotel, The Nantucket, in Nantucket. Our room was lovely. Extremely clean and comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom... More

Immaculate, beautifully-designed, perfectly decorated and ultra-comfortable, stylish accommodations , the family and couples-oriented signature event (The Lure Restaurant Clambake on Wednesday nights), a children-friendly environment (there's a "Harry Potter/Alice in Wonderland" moment when you first see the colossal chess set with each chess piece several feet tall and giant-size chairs near the ping-pong tables, 1956 "Winnetu-inscribed" Ford and Winnetu Fire...
