Enjoy sleeping in, the day spa across the street, people watching on the front lawn, 5 min drive to access beautiful public beaches, 5 min walk to harbor slips, 2 min walk to boutique shopping, coffee shops - and - one of the Islands best kept... You won't find a better location in the center of Edgartown but be prepared for street noise at the peak of the summer season. It usually quiets down by 10:00p.m. but resumes in the morning with the arrival of delivery trucks and other traffic. The rooms have lovely amenities including plush towels, bathrobes etc. The inviting porch and front flower... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at The Fallon. As you said, our location can't be beat. But with that does come some noise during peak season. We are excited though as we will be undergoing a full renovation in the fall with new windows and all new furnishings. As a boutique inn we do not... More

The Fallon is located in the heart of Edgartown in a beautiful old house. It is really unique and cozy inside. It has an attractive flower garden in front with adirondack chairs you can sit on and have a drink. It also has a nice patio, which was especially valuable as we had a few rainy days. Our room #8... Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at The Fallon. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. As you mentioned, we are housed in a 150 year old whaling captains house so the rooms on the 3rd floor are smaller as they are the top floor and the roof of the... More

We stayed in Room #1 - large "king" room. We were grateful for the in room seating area as there is no common space in the inn save some outdoor seating that others have mentioned and the bar associated with the restaurant that occupies the first floor. We turned off the a/c upon our arrival and had a nice, beginning... More

Thank you for taking the time to offer a review. I agree that the property needs some TLC and I am excited to say that as of May we have new owners. When we close for season in October, we are completely renovating all the rooms as well as new windows and painting the outside and working on all other... More

We really enjoyed our time at the Fallon and in Martha's Vineyard. This Inn is close to everything! There is even a fabulous restaurant on the main floor. We were able to walk everywhere. Love the Adirondack chairs out front. Spent a lot time drinking wine and people watching. The room was great. The gal running the Inn was fabulous!... More

I booked room 7 as a last minute one night booking in July. I was skeptical because it was the only room in Edgartown available last minute...but when I got there I realized it must have been a fluke cancellation. Room was fresh clean well appointed Inn keeper was lovely. Location could not be better if not in the water.... More

My husband and I stayed here last September as part of an anniversary trip. We stayed in the front king room (I think #1), with the bay window and glimpses of the harbor. The location is very good, right in the middle of Edgartown. The restaurant on the bottom floor of the inn was excellent. It was really convenient to... More

Hi Cindy, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay last fall 2013. I do agree that those bottom steps looked bad. We had put in a very light color carpet and even though it was professionally cleaned monthly, it still showed wear quickly. Good news is that they look great now and we are... More

Was referred by the host of the wine fest to book at The Fallon and it was the best recommendation I have received in a long time! What an amazing place. Right in town, above the best restaurant and bar on the vineyard, full of charm and Carol the owner ( I think, she is so awesome she must be)... More

When we got to Fallon at 10:00pm we had a mix up in rooms they had assigned us, there for we had no room. They is nobody on the property to help you and Carol the manager was on a trip. We call the inn phone and it only went to voice mail. The hostess at the inn restaurant gave... More
