The stay in Edgartown Inn was delightful. The place was quiet, clean and in the heart of Edgartown. The place had a history of its own which can be seen distinctly in the decor. Beach was nearby and the management was very friendly. Breakfast served was homemade and delicious. Overall magnificent place.

My sister and I have been doing "sister weekends" at The Edgartown Inn for 11 years. Over the years, we have become friendly with the innkeeper, Sandi. She is such an unbelievably charming and an extremely hard working person who always makes sure that each person has a memorable stay. She has such an uplifting personality and is one of... More

This was a great experience. The innkeepers were especially warm, introduced themselves and oriented me to the property in a very welcoming manner. The public spaces ( living room and dining room) are lovely, decorated with antiques and interesting art objects. I even found a biography of the person my room was named for in the room! Nice touch! Great... More

spent the night there last weekend and is a nice quaint place. the room was very nice and clean. like everything else on the Vineyard, it is old but it gives it charm. there was no TV in the room which I like for white noise at night. that's my only compliant. the staff are really friendly and helpful. the... Lucked out and was able to book a room at the Edgartown Inn for the weekend of the 4th of July at the last minute. It was our first time on Marthas Vineyard and I wouldn't have asked for a different Inn if I could have. It's quaint with creaky floors, many angles and beautiful antique furniture. The beauty of... I have eaten at the Edgartown inn for breakfast many times in the past. It has always been delicious. I was so excited to bring my husband and two young children here today. We walked into the inn and were waiting by the grandfather clock to be seated. A waitress came out, looked at us, and poured a glass of... More

I am terribly sorry you had such a bad experience with the Inns breakfast. Customer service is very important to us and if I was made aware of this situation at the time I would have gone out of my way to correct it. Again, I apologize and I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time on the Vineyard. More

The Edgartown Inn, in business since the 1800's, continues it's excellence. It is a simple in town "country" inn. No glitz, no glamour, just down home comfort and caring. The staff - wonderful. The breakfast - wonderful - and unchanged from 77-88 when I lived in Edgartown. No WiFi, but the Library and Kelly House are nearby. No in-room tv's... More

A charming hotel with the wonderful Sandy in charge. Made to feel really welcome and although only there for one night wish we could have stayed longer. Room charming and if you get one next to the library you can pick up their open access wifi since the Inn isn't yet in the 21st century. Oops!

This inn is close to the main street. The big attraction is that the Inn in quaint and every room is different. Historical fires guests in the house were Daniel Webster, Chas Sumner and Nath'l Hawthorne. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves breakfast inside or outside in there enclosed area. Safe and secure.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Edgartown Inn on a week long visit to the Vineyard. A restored Captain's home, my room evoking the seafaring era, was spacious and comfortable. Convenient location near the harbor and the shops.
