Stayed there for two nights, loved it! Lovely cabins, good location for cyclists (just off the CCRT) and the feeling that you are camping in the forest. The serve the best breakfast I've had at any hostel - cereal, coffee, fruit, toast, jams and more - all free. The staff were so nice and welcoming. And the outdoor shower is... More

I visited last week with my Girl Scout troop. We had a private cabin with bunk beds and a fan. We were impressed with the number of outlets and the wifi in the cabin. The staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient to all the activities we had planned. I would stay... More

Our group of 3 booked a full cabin for 4 nights, and it was a fantastic place to stay. The staff and other residents were all just lovely, and treated us as family, and there was no shortage of amenities, or things to do. The short trip to the bike trail from HI Eastham was another plus, and I will... More

“Great Experience at HiMid Cape!” 4 of 5 starsReviewed 1 week ago Spent two nights here with our girl scout troop. It was great! Private cabins; well-stocked kitchen with everything you might want to cook; nice community eating-space too. Everything was clean and well cared for. The "light" breakfast was plenty for our active girls -- cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit,... More

The cabins are small with a lot of people in them. More than one person was snoring VERY loudly and I couldn't sleep, but the absolute worst part of the trip was that when I got home I realized I had a lot of mosquito bits all over my body in small little clusters and they were the itchiest mosquito... Our church group of 16 adults and teenagers stayed for 5 days in June. The hostel is inviting, clean, staffed by friendly people and very well-run. Breakfasts (included!) were delicious and the kitchen was well-equipped for our group to make full dinners each evening. Buying and storing our own food was easy, there is a large grocery store close by... More

Our Girl Scout troop (comprised of adults & teenagers) stayed at the Eastham Hostel for three days in August 2010. We found it clean and the staff informative and friendly. Our group was split between two cabins. The cabins are clean and each bunk was provided with clean sheets & blankets. It is a hostel so you are responsible for... More

With short notice, I decided to take my daughter and two of her college pals to the Cape for a long weekend. Trying to find a place to stay at the last minute seemed almost impossible. Donnie, from Mid-Cape Hostel, put me on a wait-list, but called me within an hour to tell me she had a cancellation! I've hosteled... More
