Stayed here twice with the family. Nice clean cozy cottages. Owners are on site, very friendly and very quick to respond to any needs. Having two bedrooms for the price of one hotel room is a big plus if you are traveling with family.

A true find for a great-valued escape to Cape Cod. If you are looking for luxury, this cozy, down to earth motel is not for you. If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly, inexpensive Cape Cod experience, this is it! We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit and loved it for it's common living area and decently equipped... More

Thank you for your thumbs up on our efforts to provide a clean, comfortable "home away from home" for your stay on the Cape. We make every effort to provide all the comforts of home without the boutique price so that families who have come to the Cape for years can continue to do so. The 2 bedroom efficiency apartments... The stairs going up to second floor unit was narrow, not enough room to carry your luggage. There were no electric outlets in the bathroom, we had no wifi, small TV, no ice, I had to go to office to ask for ice. Very basic, but clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C was noisy. The location is great, close to Cape... More

Sorry that this guest was unhappy with the 2nd floor unit. Having made the reservation the night before this was the only one available the first night and she was told that it was a 2nd floor room that required climbing a flight of stairs. The stairs are curved and designed to resemble a (Cape Cod) lighthouse staircase but most... More

My parents, grandmother, and my husband and I went to Cape Cod for a whale watching tour. We needed only a one night accommodation and Cove Bluffs was one of just a handful of places that offered this option. I called to inquire about availability (online availability/reservations is not offered, one downside to the establishment). Come to find out, the... More

Thanks for the great review and the reminder to check the broilers. We checked them all today and found that a couple of them needed a touch up. They are apartment size gas stoves in the kitchen units and the broilers are a drawer on the bottom of the stove unlike an electric oven with only one door to open.... More

Fleeing an unfortunate VRBO flop the local Chamber directed us to Cove Bluffs. They had a very reasonably priced two bedroom unit that we very much enjoyed and that helped rescue our CCod vacation. The unit was clean, the beds comfortable, and the shower very good. It takes a while for the hot water to come, so we'd run the... More

Thank you for the great review. We are happy that we were able to rescue your vacation. We try hard to make this a "home away from home". Glad that you mentioned the walk down to the Cove. So many of our guests come here for years and never take a gander and when they finally do they realize what... More

We rented a small studio with one queen sized bed. When we arrived we discovered the room had no closet, just 2 coat racks from which to hang clothing. The walls are paper thin so we could clearly hear the conversations of the people in the adjoining unit. Also, the bath towels were some of the smallest and thinnest I... More

Sorry about the guests in the adjoining room. Usually this is not a problem since the bedrooms in the 2BR apartments share a wall with the regular studio units and the living room/dining room where families congregate is a whole room away. Unfortunately some guests are noisier and we would have been happy to try to help with that and... More

This was my first stay in Cape Cod (but my wife has spent many a summer there). We only had the opportunity to stay 3 nights, but I'm convinced that we'll return next summer, sure to stay at the Cove Bluffs again. Don't let the terms rustic, charming, modest raise any red flags - This stay was truly a remarkable... More

Thanks for recognizing our efforts to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. As you guessed we are always happy to provide extra towels or pillows when requested. The pool is a point of pride. Tom has been a quarter century of experience in keeping it crystal clear. I am a lap swimmer so I test drive it every night. Guests... More

We had a wonderful experience at the Cove Bluffs Motel, it is a great value. The rooms worked out perfectly for our family of 4 (2 teens)-the first night we stayed in separate rooms directly across the hall from each other, and then we moved into the family suite for 2 nights when it became available. Thank you for acknowledging our attempt to keep our rates reasonable so that families that have enjoyed the Cape for years can continue to come here and enjoy the natural beauty of the outer Cape without the neon and golden arches. I stayed at Cove Bluffs for two nights in August while I waited for my husband, who was completing the Pan Mass Challenge. The motel is right off Route 6, set back on a little dead-end road. When we moved here from NH in 1997 I complained at the Eastham Post Office about the trouble with left turns in the summer and the response was "Welcome to the season of no left turns". This is especially true in July and August and Pan Mass Challenge weekend. Locals take a right then find a light to turn around... More
