This was our 2nd stay at the Inn at the Oaks this year. We first visited in June and we returned in November. We stayed in the Carriage House and loved the privacy. This 2nd stay we spent more time at the inn than the first time we stayed. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit outside, but a... More

Spent the chilly, fall weekend at the Inn at the Oaks to celebrate our anniversary and it was excellent. The staff is very kind and very accommodating. The room was quaint and exactly as pictured. Everything seemed to be well maintained and decorations were a nice balance between period and cape. Location was perfect. Only desire would have been better... More

We spent two nights in the ground floor room with a private entrance -- was small, especially the bathroom, but exactly as pictured and very clean/comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring that area of Cape Cod and points north, and the staff was offered excellent restaurant recommendations. As noted in a previous review, the breakfast offered was cold --... More

I generally avoid B&Bs because they tend to be frilly and precious. Inn at the Oaks, however, was understated and classic, with clean lines and simple antique furnishings. Nary a ruffle in sight. It was also impeccably clean and in perfect repair. The grounds are lovely, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, and the staff friendly and accommodating. In short, a... More

This is a lovely, well maintained and appointed captain's house with a number of areas to sit quietly and enjoy a book or a pretty room. Breakfast is the same daily and is a cold breakfast: yogurt, cold cereal, and a quick-bread that changes daily. The highlight for me was a medley of fresh fruit (blueberries, pineapple, melons, etc.) also... More

My wife's 80 year old father requested a weekend visit to Cape Cod. As a young man he had honeymooned there 60 years ago, and had returned on numerous occasions throughout his life. We wanted to find a location to stay that would give us easy access to some of his favorite spots on the outer Cape....something between P-Town and... More

Comfortable and informal accommodation close to beach, cycle track and other sites of interest. Room with ensuite, not luxurious, but very comfortable. Plenty of ground floor communal space to read and chill out. Good continental breakfast with ready supply of teas/ coffees. Delicious cookies and coffee served mid afternoon ! We had high hopes...we stayed in the little outbuilding, ground floor, to the right upon entering and we dropped things on the little table right when you enter the first little room with futon bed, and raced to Arnold's lobster roll shack (which was decent), but when we got back there was such an invasion of ants; I could deal... Good Afternoon - Thank you for your comments about your stay back in August. Every season the sugar ants try to move in, unfortunately they moved in with gusto and early this year. They are usually gone within a day. I'm glad Kelly was able to get in there and clean them up for you. I hope the complimentary bottle... More

This was the first visit to the Cape for my wife. The house is charming with lots of nooks to sit and read and enjoy the fresh baked cookies and tea. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a private bathroom three steps down the hall. The breakfast choices are many and the tea and coffee plentiful. The location... More

This is my third stay at the Inn and once again everything was absolutely lovely. I teach a photo workshop from the Inn each fall and we use the Inn as home base. The staff is always helpful and accommodating - with a smile! - the breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the afternoon cookies are incredible and give those... More
