Prime location near gorgeous Nauset ocean beach, superb dining, local grocer, also not far from bike path and charming downtown. Classy decor fits with antique in and has modern upscale touches for aesthetics and comfort. Richard is warm, friendly and gracious. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, homemade muffin, and a different delicious hot entree each day. Stayed in the off season... More

A great location convenient to the beach, Nauset Farms (across the street), a variety of local shops and restaurants, and to the outer Cape towns. Jo and Richard are very friendly and hospitable. The baked apple cranberry french toast was delicious as was Jo's homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit. Rooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated and very clean.... More

We stayed at the Parsonage Inn for four nights at the end of September and really enjoyed the experience. The rooms are spotless, location is good and the breakfast delicious(thanks to Jo) and nothing was too much trouble. Jo, Richard and family are very welcoming. We can't wait until the next time. I wish we were a little closer to... More

I had the pleasure of staying at The Parsonage Inn with friends last week. ( October 3 & 4 2014) What a beautiful spot. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The Innkeepers Richard and Jo-Anne were very gracious and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the other guests were charming as well. We would highly recommend this B... More

We stayed the weekend of Sept. 19th. This is a great location central to the Cape and within a mile or so of the Cape Cod bike/rail trail. Nauset Beach and the bay are within 10 minutes via bike. The Innkeepers JoAnne and Richard are awesome hosts and we loved the hearty and healthy breakfasts. The Mayberley room in which... More

In addition to 2 comfortable nights in East Orleans, we enjoyed meeting Richard and Jo-Anne Hoard, who have taken over the Inn 2 years ago and have already done some creative things to increase the charm and comfort of the 1700's farmhouse. Great customized breakfasts equal the hospitality. Good restaurants in walking distance or short drive. Jo-Anne's parents apparently had... More

Thank you for your time and writing the review. We love everything about the Cape and Orleans, in particular how so much of it reminds us of England. We try to bring a little of that to our rooms and Jo's breakfast. We are lucky to have found a 250 year old home, with many original features and love showing... More

This was our first visit to this Cozy & Yummy Inn! We planned our trip last minute and our typical Inn we have visited for years was booked, as many Others in the area. Parsonage was new to me and I was drawn to the organic breakfasts. The rooms looked inviting and luckily they were able to book us. We... More

We stayed at the Parsonage Inn on August 9th and 10th. It was just wonderful. Clean, nicely decorated, and the breakfast was amazing! The towels in the bathrooms were new! Loved that! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are pleasant and quiet at night. I loved the coffee machine in the hall; that was very convenient. The Inn Keepers,... More

We enjoyed our stay in The Nook room on the 2nd floor. The queen bed was very comfortable. The bath was modern, the towels plush. There is a nice sitting room out side the bedroom supplied with coffee, tea, fridge and games. The skylight allows for a lot of light. There is a large living room in the main house.... More

We stayed here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As many others have noted, Jo and Rich are delightful hosts -- warm, friendly, and attentive without being over-bearing -- and, in many ways, their hospitality was the best part of staying here. In fact, by the time we left, we felt as if we'd known them for a long time,... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We have completely renovated the Inn but attempted to retain some of its original features such as the pine flooring and some of the antiques. Hopefully we have achieved the right balance. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you when you're next here. More
