On our last night at Cape Cod, we enjoyed a very stay at Ship's Knees Inn. Nauset Beach is about 1/2 mile down the street from the Inn and the neighborhood simply charming. The Inn is a great option. It is not luxury but well above satisfactory. Somewhere in between those two ratings with meaningful value at their price point.... More

My husband and I enjoyed a three-night stay after visiting Boston and Vermont - we had a great time. The hotel is lovely even if the room we had, no 12, is compact. Breakfasts were marvellous, delicious and included unusual delicacies as well as the standard stuff. Pete was particularly helpful when I needed advice for a trip to Nantucket... More

My wife and I have been there every Labor Day weekend for five years, and are always delighted by our stay. Peter and Denise are wonderful hosts, the property is beautifully maintained, and the breakfasts are outstanding. The location is fantastic if want to be within 5 minutes of a terrific ocean-facing beach, and the central location makes visiting any... More

I was drawn to the Ship's Knee Inn after somehow stumbling upon it online. I immediately got the feeling that this was the place for a long weekend on Cape Cod. I was right and it was even better in person! The owners are simply lovely. The Inn is well-kept and all the wonderful interior design touches add to its... More

First, let me say that I would return to the Ship's Knees Inn when I am next on vacation on Cape Cod. My family stayed at the inn over the Labor Day weekend. We took up several rooms at the inn. Upon arriving at the inn one is struck by the beauty of the landscape which is full of colour... More

I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Cape Cod. Very friendly and warm environment -- set by the owners Peter and Denise. It feels as if you are a personal guest in someone's home. Within easy walking distance to the Cape Cod National Seashore beach, also a relaxing swimming pool for those who don't want to brave the cold waters of... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ship's Knees Inn after he completed the Pan Mass Challenge in August! So relaxing from start to finish. The innkeepers were so accommodating. The Inn is beautiful. Very quaint and very very clean. We had reservations for two nights and extended our stay an extra night. We had to move rooms and the... More

We stayed here in later August for only one night while passing through to a further destination. We found the employees and owner (Pete) to be very professional and ultimately friendly. Within walking distance to a fantastic beach, and a short drive to restaurants. We ate at Joe's Main St Bar and Grill and that too, was fantastic. We stayed... More

Great place to stay! Walking distance to Nauset, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds including pool, firepit, and a variety of sitting areas. The owners are accommodating and invested which is refreshing! We stayed in a Queen Deluxe room and found it to be just perfectly decorated, comfortable and very clean.

I have been coming to Cape Cod since childhood. There were years of motels on busy roads early on. In recent years there have been delightful family gatherings at rented cottages a few miles from the beach. Recently, my husband and I wanted the true Cape Cod experience without the need for our own cottage. The search was on!!! How... More
